We as a family of four had stayed in Deluxe room which is very outdated and required immediate renovation.Hotel with a 4 star rating but still operating keys for door opening and once you enter a very old hotel 20 years back with old furnished tiles bathroom tubs and outdated room's.Be ware and careful as rooms images are not genuinely displayed in any online site.Although hotel highlight is there restaurant with mouth watering foods and good Vibes.

I had a lovely stay here! The view from the room was really beautiful — perfect to unwind and enjoy the moment. The bar had a great atmosphere, and I truly enjoyed a cold beer there after a long day. The room had a nice, authentic feel to it, and soaking in the bathtub was the perfect way to relax. Overall, it was a peaceful and refreshing stay. Would love to come back!

We stayed here for three nights in a premium room with balcony. It is very conveniently located on the mall road and at a comfortable walking distance from the ridge, around which are all the happening things of Shimla. The hotel is on a busy road, very easily accessible from the Tourism Lift, but once we were inside, it was quiet and peaceful. The room heating was pretty good. The complimentary buffet breakfast was excellent. We also tried their restaurant Eighteen71 for lunch and dinner, and the food was good. The staff are helpful and nice. Mr. Sanjay Sharma, the manager of the hotel, was very helpful right from the time we booked our hotel (directly from their website), till the time we reached there (arranging for a porter to meet us at the Parking Lot on arrival etc) and ensured that we had a comfortable stay. They also have a Travel Desk which arranges for local sightseeing and airport transfers etc. Definitely a great place to stay if you are visiting Shimla.

The only positives of this hotel were its location and room service. Apart from that, everything else was disappointing. 1. The curtains are not blackout, so the room gets bright early in the morning. 2. The amenities are outdated, and the room clearly needs renovation, especially at this price point. 3. Noise from outside was constantly disturbing. 4. The shower is oddly placed above the bathtub, which makes it very inconvenient if you only want to take a shower—you have to step into the bathtub regardless.

Lovely hotel. Beautiful and picturesque surroundings. Helpful and plesant staf. Fabulouse kitchen, the food was excellent. Clean and spaciouse rooms. Perfect location. A taste of the colonial style. There was no smoking and no littering and even no cars (almost) on the Mall road. Less noise and cleaner1 air than we have ever experienced any were else in India

This was the worst hotel we stayed at in India! The room was not clean, we had to ask for the basic amenities like toilet paper. We had to ask for the room to be cleaned. The access to the hotel is very difficult and cars cannot approach the hotel. The breakfast was with a variety of food but the service was atrocious! They basically grunted at every request we made. There was a lot of street noise in the room at all hours. Overall a terrible experience!

Lovely staff, our twin room was good, excellent location. We ate here twice in the evening during our 3 night stay, loved the palek paneer which was made not too spicy. We were able to have an early breakfast before our departure which was lovely…..excellent Masala tea!

Excellent hotel. Thoroughly enjoyed our trip. Had 2 rooms with a view. Reception were warm, friendly and extremely helpful. You should be proud. Every request was done swiftly from the bell boys to hskp. Even helped to warm the room for us. Restaurant eighteen 17, service top notch, food wonderful, recommend the dinner a must. The service staff very friendly and attentive. I spoke to my wife about washing my hands and the staff brought a finger bowl for us. Wow Your hotel should all be proud. Well done to everyone there. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

This was my favorite hotel of my trip thru india! My friend and I stayed for two nights in January. Although it was not the most luxurious place we stayed, it was by far the most enjoyable.The service was beyond perfect, I drove the front desk staff crazy with all my annoying tech questions, but they were constantly helping me and gave us such good advice on everything. The rooms are great, lots of hot water, heaters, good beds and fantastic food with two great restaurants to choose from…I could have stayed longer. Shimla is a treat, go and stay with these folks, worth every rupee!
