There are still rooms available during the Spring Festival ~ Suitable for family travel ~ The front desk upgraded the king-size room and gave us a free breakfast ~ Although the location is a bit remote, it is easy to find it by following the navigation ~ It is not far from Changqing Baoduzhai in the west of Longquan Ancient Town, and the transportation is also convenient ~ The hotel room is very comfortable ~ The only thing worth improving is the breakfast, because there are so many people, the food is updated a bit slowly, I hope to experience the breakfast again next time ~

Dinner is eaten in the restaurant on the second floor, which can be purchased in group purchases. The taste and service are great. The hotel also arranges shuttle buses to pick up guests to Hebo and Zhengding Ancient City, and the service is meticulous and thoughtful. In short, the hotel is cost-effective and popular, and I will choose to stay next time.

Overall a great hotel, and we loved our room and the swimming pool (the changing rooms and showers are amazing!) but there were some issues. Our door cards constantly stopped working even though we told the staff every time we extended our booking. The gym was much too hot, almost too hot to work out in. The shower in the room was not hot enough and the water temperature fluctuated a lot. Breakfast was very disappointing; the breakfast room so freezing that a lot of people had to wear their coats to breakfast and a lot of the food was cold even at 7.30am. The service at breakfast was poor and there was little good western food. Undeniably the view is absolutely stunning though. The worst thing was the internet, which even for Chinese websites was extremely slow, and that more than anything else spoiled our stay.

Overall the experience was good but at check-in I was surprised at the line of questioning from the clerk. Why is the name of the local company I came to visit required during check-in? My visa is a resident visa so I was surprised at this line of questioning. Other than that I don’t have any complaints and quite enjoyed my stay.

This hotel is fine, but to be honest, the check-in procedure for foreigners is way too long and intrusive. I've stayed at dozens of hotels in China and this is the first time I've been asked that many questions (COVID time included): What's the purpose of my stay, where do I live and work, what airline did I use to arrive in China (even though I have been living in China for almost three years) and what was the flight number, etc. This is not acceptable!
