Hotels in Science and Technology Park, Shenzhen

Excellent value for money. Great location, clean friendly, superb swimming pool, clean rooms, moderate price, value for money, right next to Nanshan park which is gorgeous. Decent buffet breakfast and close to maccas and Burger King if you get the western munchies.  I can’t recommend this hotel highly enough.

The Icon Lab Aiken Hotel is conveniently located in the Nanshan district of Shenzhen. It is within a few minutes walking distance of the large MIXC mall, which in itself is able to occupy you for a whole day & night. Plenty of shops, restaurants, exhibitions, an ice skating rink, coffee shops, and other larger and smaller facilities there, a great bakery, and a very nice al-fresco setting where you can - weather permitting - eat outside at the ample number of terraces. In the weekends it gets very busy, so do make a reservation if you can, or simply come early (5:00 - 5:30 pm) to ensure you don't have to wait in line or won't even be able to get a seat at all. The hotel is simple, clean, has nice sized rooms. Note that some rooms don't have windows, such as the Courtyard rooms (but no courtyard to look at, only a blind wall right outside your 'balcony'). The reservation is clear about that, so no complaint. Breakfast is available and has a basic choice of warm or cold food at a very reasonable price. The only negative comment is that noise from other rooms was very audible. Hence if your are sensitive to a crying baby or a couple having a louder discussion, you should be aware. The overall service is friendly. Good stay.

Hotel is about 8 mins walk to the nearest subway MTR, really convenient. Room was very decent size, thanks to the check in staff who was polite and upgraded us. Bathroom is equipped with the electric powered toilet and there was no cigarette smell in the room, which is fantastic.

Upon our arrival I showed the benefits and rewards which Trip.com states, the manager, who resembles HK TVB actress 陈法拉, gave us a free upgrade to a 2 bedroom with 2 double beds unit. She even arranged a fruit platter for us. She was professional, patient and friendly. Thank you. The housekeeping staff were very hardworking, helpful and courteous. Thank you. Location is convenient. Metro is just across the road and bus stops too. Visiting places of attraction is easy. Takeaway was delivered by robot when our food arrived at the hotel lobby.

I had a very pleasant stay. The room was spacious, organized, clean, and neat.  It also had a great view with a small couch and a table by the window, it was nice to work while watching a great view.  The staff was nice and it did not take too long to check in or check out. They offer luggage keeping service. Personally, I like the structure of shower room and washroom, placement of the bathtub, selections of teas and drip bag (they have decaf), hair dryer, large window. The location is great too. It was very convenient to get to the hotel from the airport, and it is just right above the metro station, I would say one minute walk. Although you have to transfer one time, it takes less than 20 minutes to get to the Futian station where you can take the train to get to Hong Kong.   I would definitely like to visit here again when I travel to Shenzhen next time.

This place is nearer to two train stations and a lot of food stalls. I had an issues regarding on my train ticket to HK. The two girl staffs at front desks were very helpful to help me call the customer service Limitation: the hotel has to share with others business which is limit of privacy as hotel guest. Food choices limited for breakkie and no enough of seat for breakkie The best the is the location and services from the team.. and they also provide FREE laundry service

The room was clean and very spacious. Check-in was quick and efficient, though the staff member at reception didn’t greet me or say a word—just took my passport, which came across as quite rude. Overall, the staff didn’t seem particularly friendly or welcoming at first. However, this changed on my last day thanks to Della. She was absolutely fantastic—she helped me book a taxi and even walked me outside to make sure I found it. Her kindness and professionalism really turned my experience around. The hotel’s location is excellent—everything you might need is right nearby. I was expecting more from the “city view,” though. It wasn’t quite what I had hoped for.

Super busy days during CNY day 2, almost can’t get a room at 3pm while we are waiting, luckily we finally got upgraded to suite room with plenty of space. Next day at the breakfast it has great variety of food offering and taste yummy too but the line up is a mess. The staff just ask us to find our own table, so it become so chaotic around 9am, eventually it was ok when we finish so I hope the team could have managed it better.

Very impressed with the hotel especially with the amenities. They have alcohol swabs, air fresheners, face and neck mask as freebies. Hotel is conveniently located.. A breeze walk of 100m to nearby restaurants.
