Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Intercontinental Shenzhen. It is family focused, very clean, rooms are spacious, food is good (especially the breakfast) & there is PLENTY to keep young people occupied. The man-made beach is a HIT for kids and adults alike (complete with pirate ship and swim up bar). We didn’t know that the Chinese Cultural Village is next door & you can access it from this hotel if you have tickets. We will be doing that next time & we will be back! The best hotel we have stayed in since arriving in Shenzhen!

My kids and I had a fantastic visit at the intercontinental Shenzhen. The facilities are very exciting my two young kids. Dafne Lopez, the guest service manager, who greeted us, always assured we had a fantastic time and little pleasant surprises even when she was off-duty.
It is super close to the border, and to the fancy new malls in the area as well. Will certainly come again.

Great housekeeping and reception service. The pool was amazing as usual. The rooms are extremely spacious. The juice bar at breakfast can't be missed. Highly recommended.

Dafne, Sami and team are super helpful and demonstrating great hospitality. The kids of 3 families are staying here for a staycation during term break. They enjoyed the pool, water slides and beach so much.
We also think breakfast buffet could be improved. There aren’t many dim sum choices nor good tasty bacon.
Though good fresh juices and the kids loved feeding the fishes next to the restaurant

We recently stayed at the Intercontinental Shenzhen with our family and were very pleased! The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff was very polite. The kid loved the pool and the views from the window. The breakfast buffet exceeded all our expectations! A vast selection of European and Asian dishes, fresh pastries, and great coffee. Every family member found something to their taste, which is very important to us. Thank you for the hospitality! We highly recommend it for a trip to Shenzhen with family.

This is our second time staying at Intercontinental SZ. We stayed one night with breakfast buffet. The kids love both the outdoor and indoor swimming pools. The pools are big and so much fun! After breakfast, the kids got to feed the fish before their second day swim! The staff are friendly. We will definitely come back!
