I booked this hotel at the last minute to attend CIBF 2026. Seeing it listed as a 4-star property with a reasonable price, I decided to give it a try. However, upon arrival, I realized it operates much more like an apartment complex than a traditional hotel. The entire residential community belongs to the “Hotel”, with the B1 building serving as the main hub for registration. During busy events like CIBF, they open up the other buildings to accommodate the crowds. While my specific room was relatively clean, I suspect these auxiliary buildings lack regular maintenance and cleaning during off-peak times, as I actually overheard other guests complaining about seeing cockroaches.
The room amenities were quite disappointing for a supposed 4-star hotel. The bathroom had no bathtub, and worse, the drainage was so poor that taking a single shower completely flooded the entire bathroom floor, not just the shower area. Additionally, the bedsheets were not made of cotton and felt very uncomfortable. When combined with Shenzhen’s notoriously humid weather, the bedding felt incredibly damp the entire time.
The wider hotel facilities were also a letdown. While they set up a temporary breakfast area in my building during the exhibition, the food was mediocre at best and definitely did not meet 4-star standards (though I can't speak for the main breakfast over in B1). The gym and laundry room are only located in the B1 building, and walking outside in the sweltering heat just to use them made those amenities practically useless to me. On a positive note, the hotel staff were helpful and did their the best they could to assist, even if the structural issues were beyond their control. They also provided a very convenient shuttle bus to the exhibition center. Ultimately, despite the service from the staff, I would not choose to stay here again for future exhibitions.
