Location great. Golf course looked good. Swimming pool was very popular and bbq area good. Great shops literally across the road. Rooms very tired. Bathroom vanity so low, constantly bent over. Toilet paper 1st roll complimentary. Great desk but no powerpoint for charging phones and cameras. If planning a stay don't forget the toilet paper and extension cord.

Lovely location and lovely outlook with peeps of the sea. Room is tired, shower over a bath which we don’t particularly enjoy. Bed is lovely and comfortable. the rooms aren’t very well soundproofed but if you use the earphones to stream then you tend not to notice that plus you get used to it. Would we come again, yes we would. We travelled extensively to the northern part of Tasmania, as far as Stanley and The Nut from here on day trips and we found the driving easy as the roads are very good and were able to do a lot of exploring. We did a lot of walking around the local area along the Esplanade at Port Sorell, Shearwater and Hawley Beach. There is an IGA, Takeaways, and a couple of coffee places within walking distance which are really nice. There is a Woolworths, doctors, chemist etc about a kilometre away. If you’re buying petrol don’t buy it and Shearwater, buy it when you’re out and about as it is a lot more expensive here than other more remote places.

Shearwater resort had the most amazing, helpful and informative manager at reception check in. He helped booking activities and was very knowledgeable about the sites to visit during the stay. It was a lovely resort to stay in and relax. Thank you, Shearwater resort.

Great family holiday - plenty to do - very clean - loved the spa - bbq area and bbqs very clean - had fun playing golf - restaurant was yummy - shops close by - Woolies up the road - lots to do close by

Great room, well appointed and comfy. Would recommend this resort to anyone. Very good amenities. Rooms are quiet. Lovely balcony to be able to sit out on over looking the golf course. With in easy reach of the beach.

Felt like 70’s retro, carpet up the wall, plastic covers on the dining table, dark timber cabinets and a spa perhaps passed its use by date, we needed bomb alaskas and cheese fondues to be truly late 60’s or 70’s!!

We had dinner at the restaurant on one evening and then take away pizza on another evening. Both experiences were excellent. With the restaurant within easy walking distance of the accommodation ir provides an excellent dining opportunity.

The resort is very good. Has everything you could wish for..except one thing..excitement. The two bedroom suites are very spacious, light-filled and comfortable .Good Wifi and a big TV is in place. Shearwater is probably a lovely quiet town to retire. However for the visiting tourist, there isn't much to do there. The tiny shopping centre is a giveaway. Real Estate offices in force as well as a large Dental Surgery. As a result, we did a number of short day trips to Cradle Mountain and Devonport. As to the resort, the office reception is strong on providing details on local attractions. Tips: Avoid F Section,it is a centre for a lot of amplified voices. section F is enclosed and sound really travels. There is a laundrette there with people coming and going. Also, there is a room for the staff and you will hear them chattering early in the morning.

Great spot for touring around Tasmania's top half. Loved the closeness of the beaches and outlying areas. Very helpful owners/receptionists. Clean and tidy (although a bit dated). Found the two bedroom apartment would only be suitable for a family group rather than 2 couples. Need an oven or airfryer in kitchen as we only had microwave and hobs for cooking - no fries!!!
