Country Garden Phoenix Hotel Shaoguan (Shaoguan Centennial East Street)

Booked this as a resort experience to break up our trip. Sadly there was no water in the pool and it looked like it hadn't been used in quite some time. I think for the price it was disappointing and you can find something a lot nicer.

nice stay. delicious breakfast. friendly staffs. good walk around the hotel

Great location, comfy bed, and excellent service. Value for money!

The hotel was incredible very spacious.

Looks more like a resort than hotel. Hotel lobby was very grand but facilities are worn down. There is a gym and karaoke room but the karaoke looks more like night club, swimming pool looks old too and it’s closed. Room size ok, necessities are all equipped but lack of power points for charging and no international sockets. Shower surprisingly very comfy good water pressure with enclosed shower and bath tub, and I am very happy to see the washlet toilet. Room comes with a balcony with table and chairs and the view is nice. Free coffee and tea at the lobby. Buffet breakfast variety more local and food are all quite oily, very tasty though. There is a male staff at the reception which I would like to compliment, he helped us book DiDi during our stay throughout using his own account as we have issue with our WeChat. Excellent service! Took DiDi to nearby bainian dong jie for night market and food, must go place if you visit Shaoguan, try the mu mian ting chuan shao, very nice.

very good

Good!
