This hotel in Shangri La truly felt like home! You can tell the owner puts his heart into the place, and it makes all the difference. We stayed for three nights, but honestly, it wasn’t enough. we loved everything about it, especially all the cool tech features. The owner was incredibly kind and even upgraded us to what seemed like the biggest room. The heated bed and floors were a dream, keeping us warm and comfortable, and we could even dry our clothes on them! They also have a free washing machine, which was such a lifesaver. And the breakfast? *So good!* The milk tea was amazing, and there was this soup (I wish I knew the name) that I still think about—it was *that* good. On top of that, the service was next level. The owner personally picked us up from the train station—in a *BMW*, no less! He was beyond thoughtful, even helping us book a trip to Balagezong. I’ve stayed in plenty of hotels, but I’ve never met an owner who goes this far out of his way to make guests feel welcome. If you’re visiting Shangri-La, I can’t recommend this place enough. For the level of service and hospitality you get, the price is more than worth it. You *will not* regret staying here! It just walking distance to all the eateries and the prayer wheel!

When I came to Shangri-La this time, I chose a hotel blindly. Before booking the hotel, I asked the front desk of the hotel if there were any parking spaces. The lady at the front desk was very patient and helped us to check and informed us that there were still parking spaces. We just booked the hotel. After we arrived, It was around two o'clock in the morning, and I found that most of the parking lots were full. I went to the front desk to ask, and the front desk pointed out the parking space to us in time. We checked in smoothly. We were introduced to facial cleanser, hand cream, moisturizer and other supplies. There was Yunnan arabica coffee, which was very thoughtful. We were also upgraded to a room with oxygen, which was great~ The lady at the front desk was very cute and even gave me a small aromatherapy

The room has a heater and electric blanket, which is very warm, and the bed is also very soft. The inn is in a small alley in the ancient city, very quiet, and has its own parking lot. You can drive directly to the inn from the north gate, which is very convenient. When I left, the boss also gave me a very delicate small prayer wheel, which I liked very much.

The store owner is very welcoming. They upgraded us to a family room for free when there were still rooms available. The room is clean and tidy, and also very large, with disposable towels. The homestay is inside the ancient city, and Didi can go directly to the door, which is very convenient for visiting the ancient city and traveling. We took the high-speed train at around 5pm, and they also stored our luggage for us after checking out. There are all kinds of flowers outside the door, love it~

First of all, let me talk about the environment of the B&B. It is really great. As soon as you enter, you can see the clean and tidy yard. The boss is very nice. It is like a walking travel guide. I also met a lot of young ladies and brothers here and we cook together. Singing and walking around the ancient city together made my trip no longer lonely and made this trip more meaningful. I must stay here when I come to Shangri-La and will definitely come back in the future.

After dinner, we sat down to drink tea and listened to the handsome boss and the enthusiastic landlady talk about the things here. The couple are both locals. They carefully polished every flower, tree and brick on their land, hoping to give the travelers the most comfortable and warm feeling of home. Being careful is what impressed me the most. Pick-up at the airport, welcome tea, a heater in the living room, and bookshelves full of books are really in line with my desire to hide here from the hustle and bustle of the city to eat, drink, and relax ~ I like it very much @Shangri-La Dukezong Ancient City-Kamamedon B&B
