Wonderful family run guest house that so treat you like family. It's large enough for a good-sized group. Rooms vary, but I had a double room in the 'old' section, and it was great with a private bathroom and plenty of hot water for the show shower. The only downside was the beds are rock hard, virtually no padding. I was alone, so I used the second comforter for padding. The location is perfect for spending the night before starting the high trail hike above Tiger Leaping Gorge. It is the official starting point.

Really beautiful location. Easy to start the 28 bends hike. Lovely fresh ingredients for food - recommend to go for pork or chicken dishes. Also very friendly and helpful to arrange luggage to your end-destination of the TLG hike.

Wonderful place to start the Upper gorge trail. I was able to book a Didi to take me from Lijiang to Naxi GH, driver was really helpful and stopped at the ticket centre on the way. Guesthouse is ideal place to start the trek, the trail from Naxi to Tea Horse isn’t very busy (after that all the day trip hikers join the trail). Mountain view rooms are totally worth it for the view (one of the best views on the entire trail). But if you don’t want to spend the money, the roof terrace is equally amazing. The owners are very friendly, relaxed and helpful, food is tasty and cheap.

Not a big deal, but they do not respond on Trip.com. 4 Food: Cheap and delicious 추천합니다. 뷰도 정말 좋고, 객잔 가족 분들도 너무 친절하셨어요. 단점은 새벽에 소나 닭 소리가 들린다는 건데, 그렇게 블편하지는 않았습니다. 방에 난방이 없어 보여서 추울까봐 걱정했는데 하나도 안 추웠습니다. 대부분은 3-4시간 하이킹을 위해 차마객잔이나 중도객잔에서 스테이하는 것 같은데, 이 둘은 너무 붐비고 & 방 컨디션이 그렇게 좋지 않은 것 같아요. 28밴드 넘어가는 게 힘들긴 하지만 저는 나시객잔 스테이가 더 낫다고 생각합니다:) 너무 좋았습니다!!!

Wonderful guesthouse, which serves as the starting point for the famous Tiger Leaping Gorge hike. While most people arrive by car in the morning, I highly recommend staying overnight. Warm welcome, delicious breakfast with plenty of options, and breathtaking mountain view from my room (I mean it). I had a beer on the rooftop at sunset, fine opportunity to meet fellow hikers. The owners even offer a paid service to transport your bags to the final stage of the hike. Really a must-stay for a good night sleep and start hiking whenever in the morning.

Very beautiful hostel on the mountain. 2 hikes start from there. There's the restaurant and the personal is welcoming and friendly. The bed in the dorm was short: not good for people taller than 1.80cm.

The facilities are really good for a stay that is located in the rural area. Getting to the place, though, might be quite rough without a multi terrain vehicle.

This place is a hidden gem and it does have a few twists and turns to get there. It is great place and the family are so friendly and helpful!! The main host lady can speak some English, but she understood what we were talking and asking. Everyone was sooo friendly. The check in was very smooth and the room was so spacious! The view of the mountain in our room was breathtaking. The bathroom is very modern, the shower had great water pressure and there was no waiting for hot water. The bed was comfy, towels were nice and soft and the AC worked very well. They had tea leaves in the room if you wanted to make yourself a nice cup of tea. The view from the roof top was fantastic. The family had all the supplies you may need for hiking such as snacks, drinks, rain pants ponchos, water, tissues, hats etc. They have a good range of Chinese food and what we ate for lunch and breakfast were very tasty. On the menu they had apple pie and banana pie. The pastry tasted like doughnut. Although it would go nicely with ice cream, we enjoyed it. Sorry we were too hungry, that we forgot to take pictures of our delicious food. The family organized a driver to take our luggage to the next homestay, while we hiked on. When we arrived to other locations, our bags were there. This is a place, that is you should consider staying at when hiking along the Tiger Leaping Gorge. Also, the best part of staying at this place is that you meet so many friendly hikers. Totally recommend it!🙌🏼👍👍👍👍

Great place for sleeping a day before going to halfway during the leaping tiger george

We stayed a night at Naxi Family GH on our Tiger Leaping Gorge hike. We hiked from Qiaotou to Naxi and the following day to Tinas Guesthouse to take the bus back to Lijiang. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. The room provided an electric blanket that kept us warm in the night as it was offseason. We had 3 meals in the GH restaurant. Great food. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend doing the same itinerary for your hike.

The place is unique, has a very beautiful scene, and you can watch the sun shine over the Yu Long snow mountain during sunset. It's really wonderful. At night, we had a great experience viewing the shining stars. The only thing is the room we chose is a bit cold as we insisted on staying in the more ancient feel room. They have a better room with a higher price. The surrounding has few old houses and plantations. We love the place.

This is a real family guesthouse. They are doing a big construction at the time we stayed there, but that was not a big problem. The room was nice and they have a good english menu with chinees and "western" food

Fantastic homestay on the Leaping Tiger Gorge trail! We started from beautiful Hutiaoxia town and didn't see a single person but a man and his horse until we reached the guest house. Nestled in stunning valley beneath the snow mountain it was an idyllic place to stay. The homestay itself is an old building (currently undergoing additions) in a quiet and peaceful villiage. The atmosphere seemed far nicer than other accommodation we passed later on the trail. The menu was comprehensive and the food was fresh with delicate flavour. The bed was large and comfortable and the linens and bathroom were spotless. We were treated very kindly and we felt very good staying here. Thank you Naxi guest house! :)
