Lovely place with nice view of the grassland. The hotel also helped to provide transfer to and from the train station as we have 5 pieces of large luggage. The hotel staff are friendly and assisted to chase the yaks away when they get too close at night. They also helped in arranging for transport booking as the hotel is in a scenic spot and quite far out of city. The hotel is quiet and very peaceful. Very suitable for getaway from the city life.

Before arriving, the operations manager contacted me to notify us that our room had been upgraded. The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. It was fantastic to wake up each morning to see the animals happily grazing in the field below the hotel. The food was some of the best we had on our trip. Will definitely return if visiting Shangri-La again.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The views were incredible, the room large, and the staff, especially LIDA, were very helpful. Unfortunately, we got high altitude sickness as soon as we arrived to Shangri La. LIDA was very helpful in getting us the oxygen canisters that we needed and provided us an upgraded room with oxygen to make sure that we were ok. Even while we were away from the hotel, LIDA checked in with us to make sure we were ok and prepared our room to make sure we have a warm and oxygen filled room before we came back from the city. We also left our watch behind after we left and LIDA has been responsible and responsive for mailing us our watch back. We are very grateful for his help! Thank you!

The hotel faces Napa Sea and you see the vast grassland from your room. When it is summer time, the grassland becomes the “sea”, which should be nicer. The “hardware” of the hotel is very good, but what impressed me more is the “software” — service. Xiao He arranged free airport pick-up, and they came to pick my family of 5 up with 2 x 7-seater after I told them I had many pieces of luggage. They also prepared 2 canisters of oxygen in the car just in case we feel uncomfortable in the high altitude. During our stay, warm milk was provided at night and everyone was very friendly. It was a very comfortable and enjoyable stay for my family. Thank you!

have a good rest after our Shangrila Meili snow mountain and Dukerzhong 4x4 trip . good shower and wifi room is clean and comfortable bed . hotel upgrade us better view from balcony with the room size and bed able to sleep 3 person with my teenager daughter! restaurant is closing down their western selection i think they don't have any western chef ... breakfast is purely Chinese dish nothing special for me. location is not convenience if you doesn't have your own transport .

Because my wife suddenly had something to do and needed to use the computer, we had planned to drive to the city center to find an Internet cafe in the middle of the night. As a result, the duty manager Damon and immediately found his personal computer and lent it to us. He stayed at the front desk late at night so that we could handle the matter in time. The biggest regret this time is that it has not yet entered the rainy season. There is not much water in Napa Sea and the sea surface area is not much. However, the only regret is that I did not stay in the mountain villa for a few more days. Now looking around, herds of yaks are leisurely grazing on the grass, which is another unique scenery). Every detail reveals the natural aesthetics, and any shot will turn out great. Later I found out that this was also the filming location for the TV series “Wife’s Romantic Travel”. What a surprise! When checking in, the enthusiastic service of the housekeeper Xiaohe instantly made me feel the warmth of home. You need to call the car in the park to pick you up. Of course, it only takes five or six minutes to get to the parking lot by yourself. This place is more suitable for people with cars to drive to the ancient city for half an hour. There are bicycles for rent in the hotel park, and it is also good to ride around the lake. I was received by Xiao Tan, the housekeeper, and the service was particularly good. Because it was off-season, I was upgraded to a room type for free. The breakfast was also very well arranged and delivered to my door. The rice noodles were super delicious! The floor heating in the room was very warm. Although it was off-season, the staff were very enthusiastic. It snowed the next day, and I saw two views of Napahai, which was worth it.
