LAN YU plateau section hotel

A new hotel with a great location. First impression - modern designer chic, from the reception and lobby. Rooms - also modern interior design. Facilities are good with oxygen concentrator machine (very important), humidifier, heated flooring and even heated bathroom and toilet! Benefits - daily breakfast, unlimited latte or tea during the day, unlimited mineral water and soft drinks in the room fridge. Complimentary afternoon tea and good night dessert. Location - The hotel is just up the street from Dukezong Old Town north gate, which can be reached in just a few minutes easy stroll. Service - very attentive. When we had troubles with the electronic heating panel in our room, they came and solved it immediately.

A newly opened hotel near Dukezong Ancient Town. The main reason I chose this hotel is because they have oxygen supply in the room, there’s a lift in the hotel, there’s a hospital nearby and it is about 5mins very slow walk to Dukezong. Bed is comfortable, there’s smart toilet, dehumidifier, heater in the shower and floor heating. Some rooms were equipped with projector tv while some is with Xiaomi Smart TV. They also have thermometer and oximeter at the front desk. Staff were friendly and helpful. Recommended us the restaurant next door which serves quite good ******* food. The staff went all out by sending us to the hospital nearby when one of us had a medical emergency. Breakfast is a little underwhelming but the whole day free flow of coffee is good. We wanted to go to their sister hotel in Napahai for the pet feeding but there wasn’t any availability, which was a little disappointing. Overall it is a nice hotel. Will choose this hotel again if we were to come back to Shangri-La.

The service provided by the staffs is really top-notch! My family and I have stayed in 4 different hotels throughout our trip in Yunnan and I can say that this is the best hotel! The room is very big, clean and new! Service is excellent, staffs are all very helpful and friendly, they gave my daughter lots of snacks everyday! Will definitely stay in this hotel if I ever visit Shangari la again!!

We had a very good experience staying in LAN Yu plateau section hotel. The hotel is new, clean, location is good just a a few minutes walk from the Duzekong Ancient Town. The hotel Staff is super helpful, friendly and warm. Due to non-peak season they upgraded our room to a bigger room for free. They are very accommodative and attentive and the room had equipped with almost all the amenities in our room making our stay very comfortable and feel like at home. I will definitely stay on this hotel again if I were to come back to Shangrila-La again and also will recommend this hotel to others.

The service is excellent. The location is excellent, just beside the east gate of the old town. The room is clean and hygienic. The front desk has been very helpful throughout my stay. I came here in December and the weather varies extremely widely between night and day. The front desk constantly remind me to dress up and make sure that I have the oxygen, humidifier and temperature set up properly. I will return to the same hotel in my next return.

Location if using DiDi was a little off, however, within walkable distance. Hotel was walking distance from Dukezong Ancient Town which was a plus point. Place was nice and cozy. We opted for the oxygen supply and it was great considering that Shangri-La is at an altitude of 3000+ meters.
