Ulasan Orange Hotel (Shanghai Nextage, Pudian Road Metro Station)

Don’t be fooled by the hotels high rating and description with photos, this is a typical cheap Chinese chain where comfort isn’t the priority. Firstly the shower switch (which was quite heavy) wasn’t fixed properly and fell in the floor, almost hitting my feet. The noise from the street was quite disturbing even windows were shut. There were people in the hallway talking loudly, shouting sometimes without consideration of other guests, this problem is typical for China. I suggest to spend more and stay in a bigger hotels nearby, better to choose international chain.

Orange Hotel is one of my favorite hotels when travelling to China. This branch is near Line 6 - Pudian Rd Metro Station - exit 4. (Around 500m walking distance) There are many restaurants and convenient stores around so the location is really good for tourist. The hotel has some smoking smell and quite dusty as there are construction going on around. Hope they do some thorough cleaning up after the summer holidays peak to keep the hotel squeaky clean again.

The hotel is located at lower floors of the complex building where some tutorial branch are located in upper floors of the building. First impression is with smoky smell of the elevator. The room is large to this price standard yet the air conditioner doesn’t work until the front desk staff come to fix it. The room has lighting system that I did not enjoy much, as it does not provide sufficient amount of illumination to the room, which makes the room feel dirty. I would say it is fair to be rated as a 3-star hotel given the location and the feeling of hourly hostel. However given the price and decent distance from metro station, I will loose my rating standard accordingly.

However, I also found that some small details still have room for improvement: for example, the floor of the room collapsed, and the hot water was a bit slow. As an old customer, I sincerely hope that you will continue to optimize the maintenance of facilities and personalized services while maintaining the unique style. I look forward to meeting a better Orange next time I stay~

The location is very convenient, 300 meters away from the subway. The suite is very large, and the soundproofing is also very good for children to take remote master classes. The price is very good. The taxi ride from Pudong to Puxi is close to the house price, so it is better to stay for one night. The room is clean, comfortable and warm, and the service is very good. Breakfast is delivered to the room, and a small snack is given as a surprise when leaving. There are many facilities, and there is also a capsule coffee machine. I will buy it again if I need it in the future!

I have stayed at Orange Hotel in other cities and felt very good, so this time when I came to Shanghai to see the exhibition, I also chose Orange Hotel, which is close to the East Building of the Museum and convenient for subway. The hotel experience is still the same. The room is clean, comfortable and quiet. The front desk service is thoughtful. The disposable items are of good quality. Breakfast is also delivered to the room. The combination is very nutritious and I can't finish it. Next time I come to Shanghai Museum, I will stay here again
