Ulasan Atour Hotel Jing'an Temple Nanjing West Road, Shanghai

It was overall a great stay. The lobby is cozy, fragrant and dimly lit with soft yellow lighting. The room is not very big but there was enough space to move around comfortably. Love the shower with instant heating and water temperature digitally displayed and the hairdryer has good wind strength. The toilet seat is electronically kept warm and wash basin tap comes with hot water, which really made a difference during cold weather. Breakfast was simple but delicious, with variety enough for a nutritious start to the day. The noodles made by the robot was unexpectedly quite tasty. The complimentary late night porridge was also a warm touch to end the day for guests. There are books spread out throughout the public spaces for guests to borrow (all Chinese books though). The location is rather convenient, about 10-15min walk to 2 metro stations, Jing An Temple Station and Nanjing West Rd station, lots of eateries nearby and a few shopping malls like Kerry Centre are also within walking distance, plus the beautiful Jing An Temple of course. Special thanks to the kind staff named Weekend (Zhou Mo) who extended complimentary late check out till 4pm in view of my late flight.

WoW! What a place to stay in Shanghai. Totally impressed and highly recommended. The staff couldn’t speak much English but they tried their best to communicate.

The staff were friendly, and the room was tidy. They provide decent breakfast, supper and earnest amount of water and beverage. The hotel is located at steps* away from Jing'An temple.

The hotel is well designed, beautiful interiors and reasonable room size. Room comes with quality towels and toiletries, mattress and pillows are super comfortable too. There’s free self-laundry service located at ground floor, right next to the gym. Breakfast options are pretty complete, nothing fancy but quite delicious especially the noodle bar, specially kudos to 菖蒲 for her excellence service and great hospitality, will definitely come back again!

The hotel is really new. The front desk staff are so friendly and helpful. The hotel location is near to Jingan Temple just 10 mins walk and not so far from the metro. The room have wireless chargers which are so convenient. We spent good two night here.

Great location within walking distance to many restaurants and bars. The hotel is fairly new, and the room was clean and well-maintained. The staff were friendly and always helpful, and the 24/7 laundry service was a bonus. Highly recommend!

Great location, ideally situated. Big room with modern amenities, helpful staffs even if they have little English proficiencies, probably due to brand generally cater to locals. Room cleanliness can be improved, although there is no dust, but hair can be found sometimes on the floor, probably due to the floor colouring maybe hard to see. But above all an excellent hotel to stay while exploring Shanghai.

Location is good, in the middle of citywalk Maybe can add iron in the room more convenient

The stay at Atour was amazing from the start to finish. I booked last minute as a result of booking a nearby hotel originally but that hotel was terrible and I didn't feel comfortable sleeping there. I looked for nearby hotels since it was late and night and booked Atour instead. The check in was easy. The lobby is clean. The staff either speak English or have a translation tool that makes conversation very easy and seemless. The amenities are nice. Free laundry machines. Clean space. A (small) gym too. They have AI robots to deliver packages to your room. The rooms are clean and feel new. The bed is clean and comfortable. The toilet is hands free which is nice and the shower is both clean but also modern and heats instantly. I was sick with food poisoning from a previous city on the trip and the staff even personally escorted me to the hospital nearby and translated for the doctors and hospital staff to make sure I was ok. 12 stars out of 10 rating from me. The only thing is that my mini fridge did not work and was warm.

The bathroom drainage was poor — water took a long time to go down, which was quite inconvenient. Other than that, everything else was okay. The room was generally clean and comfortable.

Hotel check in service was fast and excellent. Front office staff were helpful in your questions regarding restaurants, other places location and offering water bottles to hotel guest. Room was clean and bath towels were nice and clean. Internet needed to have 2 verifications which was a little troublesome.
