Pros:
- Easily accessible to Anfu Road
Cons:
- Zero communication provided by owner before hand, I had to initiate the communications to obtain all necessary information
- The PIN access to the main door wasn’t provided and we wasn’t aware that we needed to provide our passport information first before access can be provided
- Your neighbours are practically units underneath you and tenanted by old folks. You are advised to be quiet not to disturb them
- People with mobility issues are advised not to get this unit as you would need to climb steep flight of stairs to reach to your room, good luck those with huge luggages (highest room you would need to climb up 4 levels up)
- Mosquitoes sometimes will enter your unit

If you are looking for a stay in a typical historical house in Shanghai, this place is for you.
👍 The location is great : near Changshu Road metro station or 15 min walking from Jing'An temple.
👍 The house is quite big and comfortable : 3 nice bedrooms, one with 2 beds (family room : 3 or 4 people) + 2 nice bathrooms.
👍 As it is located in a lane, it is a bright and quiet house
👍 Communication with management is ok
❌👎 If you are old or injured : be careful, each room of the house is located up to narrow stairs (which is usual in this kind of old house)
❌👎 No microwave (different from what's on Trip)
❌👎 No daily cleaning (different from what's on Trip)
❌👎 There are only 4 chairs, only 2 plates and 2 glasses. No cutlery.

It’s very old building actually. The corridor ceiling paint all are peeling. The homestay design quite modern but is very dusty. Looks like not clean up, especially the washing machine very thick dirt and moss inside and the kitchen area is smelly and oily on the pot…Hygiene part really can’t acceptable. Other than that, the person in charge actually very helpful on our request, and provided the good service. Hope they can monitor the hygiene very well in future ☺️

Address is NOT the address listed. The apartment was clean and nice, but the host failed to send the address to me ahead of time, and was delayed at getting me information. Its still in a nice area, so I am confused why they listed a fake address on Anfu Road. It’s instead near Huaihuai and Wukang Road intersection.

有點驚喜的一次入住。民宿是體驗魔都市中心的首選，通常期望不能過高。這家民宿位置特別好，位於安福路別墅區，屬於優秀歷史建築。房間的裝修清爽乾淨整潔，還很寬敞。管家服務非常不錯，發送的自助資料十分清晰。

很滿意，房間很漂亮也很乾凈，位置特別好，就在武康路旁邊，東西很齊全有鍋有各種調料，環境也很好外面還有貓咪，客服回覆很快很親切，房子的位置也很好找，有很濃的上海弄堂氣息。
