Housed in a classic Art Deco tower completed in 1934, the Broadway Mansions Hotel (Shanghai Dasha) is a fantastic place to get a taste of vintage "Paris of the Orient"-era Shanghai. Just across the historic Baidu Bridge from the Bund proper, the Broadway Mansions enjoys great views of Puxi's jumble of older and newer buildings as well as the hypermodern reach of Pudong across the Huangpu River.Broadway Mansions is convenient to local transportation, just a short walk over the bridge from East Nanjing Road, with its popular pedestrian street and Metro station (Lines 2 and 10).Guestrooms in this Shanghai hotel feature fine, classic décor as well as high-speed Internet and other modern conveniences. Deluxe Broadway Executive rooms on the 10th and 16th floors offer additional comforts, and the upper floors house banquet halls and a lounge with panoramic views of Shanghai's constantly changing skyline.Rich in local history, the Broadway has played host to hundreds of dignitaries from around the world and the structure has been designated a protected cultural heritage building along with 14 other Bund buildings, ensuring its survival as one of the city's finest exemplars of a glamorous bygone age.Hungry guests can dine on Japanese, Chinese or Western cuisine or enjoy a nice cup of tea or coffee in the tea house.Other offerings include a business center, ticket office, beauty salon and free parking.Guests who are trying to stay fit can use the fitness facilities and then reward themselves with some time in the spa.

We had a really great time staying at Broadway Mansions. Everything was just perfect, the location, the people, the service. The view from our room was just spectacular. Staff were attentive and professional, worthy of a 5 star hotel service. This is surely one of my favorite hotel to stay when I am in Shanghai.

It was a nice hotel that had a great view of the bund area. The food was okay as well and the staff were very helpful. I am especially grateful to the team as they helped sort out the issue I faced and I highly recommend the stay.
With a breathtaking location on the Huangpu River overlooking both the historic Bund and the iconic skyscrapers of Pudong, Regent Shanghai on The Bund celebrates the Beauty of Contrast. The Seagull Regent Hotel is strategically located in the core area of the Bund, which is convenient for traveling, especially avoiding the crowds in the morning and evening to visit the Bund. It is a great experience. First of all, I would like to praise the hotel's service. The housekeeper Royee is a beautiful and kind lady. She helped us carry the luggage from the front desk to the room, enthusiastically introduced the facilities and supplies in the room, took the initiative to help us book a view seat for dinner, and sent us to the elevator entrance in the basement on the day of check-out. He was particularly careful and attentive. Marco, a tall handsome man at the front desk, was enthusiastic, thoughtful, patient and warm, with a super good memory. He could accurately call us at once when checking out, and reminded us not to forget to bring the laundry. The hotel's minibar on the first day was free, and welcome fruits and cakes were also given. There are also free washing of three pieces of clothes every day and a night bed service. The hotel's rooms, lobby, restaurant, elevator interior, etc. are designed in a very stylish way. At night, there are musicians playing in the lobby. I like the green-toned guest room I stayed in this time. The bathroom facilities are all big brands, the hygiene work is good, the bedding and towels are very comfortable, and the hotel's air conditioning equipment is also relatively quiet. The breakfast is a combination of ordering and buffet, and the quality is quite good. This was a pleasant stay.

Nice hotel but unfortunately disappointing service. I booked a Pearl Tower view room and arrived at 2am to receive a different room and had to demand to staff to give me a different room. Even then the view was not satisfactory but what else can you do at 2am? The hotel was new modern, quite hidden away from the centre but was walkable to the Bund and Nanjing Road. Overall the staff tried their best but still left a sour taste after such high expectation
The North Bund is located at No. 299 Wusong Road, which has a strong historical atmosphere. The hotel is adjacent to Shanghai Music Valley in the north, and the former site of the patrol house on Jiaxing Road is on the side; To the south, the Suzhou Creek estuary, and the riverside green space of the cruise terminal are within walking distance; West to Sichuan North Road Subway Station, Line 10 directly to Hongqiao worry-free and fast; The three-piece set of the Oriental Pearl, looking at the neon lights from afar, and seeing the wonders of Moyun up close. The hotel has convenient transportation, 10 minutes' walk to enjoy the Bund river breeze, half an hour subway speed to Riyueguang Tianzifang, and one hour Hongqiao easy to wait. Even the three-piece set of pearls of urban wonders, the internationally renowned Disneyland, the Children's Science Museum, the antique City God Temple, the exotic Wukang Building, historical sites, popular science venues, Internet celebrity attractions, natural scenery, everything is all-encompassing, all along the subway or within a short distance, this is the charm of Shanghai city center, and it is also the travel experience that the hotel is committed to recommending for every guest. As a model of traditional high-end hotels in Shanghai, Yazhi Hotel takes Western-style design architecture as the scene and Chinese-style service concept as the core, with a business center, cafeteria and afternoon tea on the first floor of the hotel; Gym and laundry room on the fourth floor; The multi-functional banquet hall, cloud bar, and garden restaurant on the 16th floor provide guests with comprehensive travel services integrating accommodation, catering, conferences, and team building. In terms of accommodation, the hotel has a square and transparent business office series, a warm and tidy family room series that can accommodate many people, a total of 161 elegant rooms with exquisite and chic Internet celebrity viewing series and a luxurious high-end suite series. During the day, sit and watch the vicissitudes of the Pujiang River, watch the pearl at night, and the night view of the river and the city, all of which are beautiful scenery, sincere and meticulous, all in the elegant, elegant hotel waiting for every guest to enjoy the light.

SAVHE Hotel is a new high - end lifestyle brand under Atour Group. In the Gaoligong Mountains, where the power of primitive life thrives ceaselessly, SAVHE in the Lisu language means "breath". One can experience the flowing life in every breath. The design inspiration comes from the oriental garden within a limited space. Sounds, lights, flowing water, and landscaping are integrated with contemporary mathematical art to create the new space of "SAVHE Hotel". It is an oriental story about Time | Space | Breath, where nature and human traces co - exist in harmony at the border.

I had an amazing stay at Shanghai North Bund SAHÓ Hotel. The service was impeccable—every staff member went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable.
One of the highlights was their laundry service, which was incredibly convenient. They picked up my clothes directly from my room, took care of the washing, folded everything neatly, and brought it back to me without any hassle. It was truly a seamless experience.
The breakfast was also impressive, offering a wide variety of delicious options to suit different tastes. Whether you prefer a light meal or something more filling, there’s plenty to choose from.
Another great feature is their WeChat message service, which makes it easy to contact them for anything you need. The hotel itself is extremely comfortable and has a luxurious scent, as they offer three different fragrance options at check-in—an elegant touch that enhances the overall atmosphere.
Additionally, the location is excellent—conveniently situated with easy access to Shanghai’s famous attractions. Whether you’re exploring the Bund, People’s Square, or other iconic spots, getting around is hassle-free.

We had an unhappy experiences in this hotel. The receptionist could speak a bit English, not friendly when we said we couldn't speak Chinese and show her Google translate. I could feel that they were not willing to help guest in booking Didi or other services.

All in all, we enjoyed the hotel. Clean and perfect location. Just that the bed was slightly slanted in the middle and we have sore spine the morning after. I especially like their smart delivery robot. They send your food delivery from Mei Tuan to the room. My bf enjoyed their big TV.

I spent several days at W Shanghai, and it was truly an amazing hotel.
The location is excellent, as it is very close to the station and directly connected to a shopping mall. A short walk from the hotel offers breathtaking views of The Bund. The hotel facilities and restaurants were all highly satisfying, and the breakfast options were absolutely delicious.

IiMjennSuch a pleasure to stay in this comfy and clean hotel. It is quite close to the MRT station and is accessible to many other attractions. The surrounding is quiet and beautiful with lots of eateries around. Will stay again in my next visit.
KKingsley LuoI had an incredible experience at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Shanghai, thanks to Karina! From the moment I arrived, Karina went above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable. She was not only incredibly helpful with all my requests but also genuinely friendly and welcoming, which made me feel right at home. Karina took the time to offer personalized recommendations, and her attention to detail was impeccable. It’s rare to find someone who truly cares about their guests as much as she does. I highly recommend staying at this hotel and hope you have the chance to be assisted by Karina—she made my trip unforgettable!
KKhosIt was very worth the for 4 night stay. Breakfast was very excellent, tasty and delicious deserts, you can have any food type, drinks you could get. Service were excellent, such as receptions, they are easy to communicate in English compared to how difficult it can be to understand people at China. The location itself is very perfect. There is a nearby mall only 1 crossroad ahead you can get anything you like at there such as Starbucks, Subway, Pizza hut, KFC, Supermarket, Mcdonalds, and the metro is only few walks away which is SUPER convenient for us to transport. Also if you're visiting the Shanghai Disneyland they will transport you there without any charge. When we arrive in Shanghai again, we will definitely come back next time. Thanks to the staff members for excellent service.
GGuest UserPro:
Very clean! I was fearing the shared bathrooms, but they are being kept tidy and clean. Men's bathrooms were among the cleanest I've seen in CN.
Staff is very friendly.
Con:
Pretty noisy! Walls and doors are like cardboard. Guests were not very considerate in terms of noise. Doors are impossible to close quietly.
But most noisy was the staff that was cleaning at 2am. Sounded like they were throwing buckets around. And my room was the furthest from the bathroom (which is where is suppose they were working)...
They only provide disposable towels. Imagine those tons of waste this produces every week!
김김I have stayed in multiple hotels in SH. Including The Conrad, Renaissance, Pudong Intercontinental and Maxx. Maxx is definitely a hotel with Character, Style, and Color. unlike your everyday & everywhere the same ‘typical 5* hotel’ it has many ‘caring’ features for a truly delightful experience. the flowery scent of the lobby area and the service coffee machine and tomatoes in the lobby, are just some of the small but very delicate warmth that I felt while staying at Maxx. the wooden floor in the room was very good too, especially with kids because carpet floors, how ever much you clean, it does have that raggedy smell with time. but not at maxx. The view? second to none obviously. the location? prime - right in front of the ferry to pudong. and 5-10mins from yuyuan gardens. Especially, the staff. I have had my share of rather unfriendly staff in China. But all of maxx’s staff were sooooo friendly and warm and kind. the door men (both Chinese and western person) - they helped us every time we went up and down the entrance stairs with our pram with the baby, and the check in staff were so caring too. And i see a lot of people complaining about the fact that the staff are not fluent in English. Bro, turn on your google translate man. you are half way across the Earth in China, and no where does it say anywhere ‘our staff are fluent in English’ - ‘when in Rome…’ - But to be fair, Maxx had multiple lady staff who were sufficient in English to my surprise, and she was really nice and helpful. (please give her a raise lol).
Anyway I will definitely stay here again w/o even looking at other hotels in SH for sure. 10/10.
TTOBACCOVANILLEThis hotel used to be Senz spa hotel, now became Double tree by Hilton. Because I enjoyed the spa and massage facilities last time I stayed I missed the massage used to be offered by this hotel but other than that I liked this hotel a lot. Very clean and slightly high ceiling in the room makes everything very comfortable and relaxing. The breakfast is kind of usual standard for this type of hotel but this hotel is directly connected to an excellent shopping street called Lidoway where I could find a lot of restaurants and bars just outside of the hotel. Highly recommended for those who are looking for relaxing stay close to Hongqiao airport and EXPO area in Qingpu

A special shoutout to the VIP ambassador, Charlotte—her exceptional service and attention to detail made my visit even more memorable. PPanchita.POur family had stayed 2 rooms for 3 nights on the 27-30, Dec 2024. Our stay were memorable and amazing. The rooms were so clean with very nice view, the breakfast line were delicious and has many variety of food both western and Chinese. The staffs were the most impressive, they could speak very good english and very friendly. The duty manager is very helpful too. I forgot the souvenir which was the Chinese embroidered traditional fan and just realized when I got back home, the duty manager was very enthusiastic and putting a lot of efforts in getting the forgot item back to me. Thank you so much, I’m really impressed and highly appreciated your hard work and kindness.
