I accidentally broke into a very beautiful place, a group of ”old guys” who are very Monet and very diligent and work overtime until two in the morning~ It was four o'clock in the morning with the boss lady. Listening to her stories and the vision of the space she created, as well as her sense of strength to persist in doing it, made me feel like I was going back to the time when I was a backpacker more than ten years ago. I hope everyone can feel the energy of warmth, love and tolerance~ I can’t wait to come back to Yarkand, looking forward to the Xiko coffee in the store, the reading club of local Uighur children, the completed painting studio, picture books... and the teahouse in the old city, the VIP ”old site”... Walkable distance to all the sites in town. Staff were so helpful! Only down sides were shower taking awhile to heat up and the drain seemed a bit blocked. For one night it's fine
