Alua Gran Camp de Mar

Arrived to a very friendly staff member, he held our cases at reception & told us to go for food & drink in there restaurant which had a great variety of choice, Our room was lovely & clean it over looked the pool & view of the sea, the pool & surroundings got cleaned every day, lovely tidy clean hotel, rooms got cleaned most days with fresh towels, we went on a couple of excursions one being the 2 hr cruise which was well worth the money, local shops are a bit pricey & nobody sells tabacco or cigarettes so make sure u have supplies, I would highly recommend & would definitely go back without a doubt, very friendly place, Thank you for making our holiday a dream to remember.

A really chilled experience. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Rooms are not the largest but are the cleanest I've seen in a holiday hotel. Great location adjacent to the beach. food was great, plentiful and of good quality with a wide selection available. Some great sea view from those room which have it. We would definitely visit again. We'd recommend hiring a small car, we did this for three days and visited many attractions which would have cost us at least three times as much if we'd have gone on organised outings. We went to the mountains and saw some spectacular scenery and some hair-raising roads. Many thanks to Raphael on reception for his advice on which routes to take. We also visited the Caves of Drach, which you have to, but it's very commercial with hundreds of people moving through at a time. We also visited Coves d'Artà which are some other spectacular show caves a few minutes up the coast. This was a much more relaxed experience with a multilingual guide and small groups of visitors. We had a great time and would go again.

I would have given it 5* But the food lets the Hotel Down.Hotel is emasculated the staff work so hard the rooms are a good size for a couple and very clean we had our room cleaned every day bedding changed when I requested it . I was so disappointed with the food for a 4* it was cold on many occasions and they dont replenish the dishes quick enough .I definitely didn’t want to see last night chips mixed with egg for breakfast the next morning.They also had food themed night such as Indian but no Indian food what was that all about .I definitely didn’t want a cold pitta bread and a heated frozen samosa . It’s definitely not 4* food and this is one of the reasons we won’t return. The resort its self is very quiet not bars just a couple of restaurants but nothing else . It’s a shame about the food because it’s a beautiful hotel and place .

What a fantastic place & hotel. All the staff helpful and hotel clean. Entertainment not to much but good fun and can take & leave with no pressure, Animation team all different personalities which make a great team. Food lovely, fresh & well cooked, yes can get a bit the same but you just need to vary your choices they are catering for large numbers. We had a Mexican night with fajitas which were lovely and made a nice change. Hotel not to big or small which is great for faimillies enough going on & children make friends easy. Location stunning, step out of hotel & at the beach & sea. Things like paddle boards, pedlos, jet skis here also good for snorkeling lots of fish. The smell people say near the beach is just drains unfortunately don't let it put you off often get this is other countries. Also bus brilliant can get other resorts in 5 to 25 mins if you want a bit more going on.

We loved it so we are going back this year for more! We booked for breakfast and evening meal which was just right. Plenty of choices and seating inside or out. Situated right on the seafront with amazing views. Buses and taxis to surrounding areas on the doorstep.

Had a lovely holiday here. The rooms were small but clean and adequate . Our sea view was beautiful No complaints about the food, lots of variety everything well cooked The staff are lovely especially the entertainment team. They really do try . I would say , id have preferred if there was a traditional kids club that kids can be left at for an hr or so this was missed by my daughter as she loves kids clubs. The evening entertainment could be better quality. The quiz was good but the acts wernt the best. I did wonder if the hotel had watched them before hiring them , especially sir duke as he couldnt even sing in tune , funny though! Keep the Bonney M experience they were great! There is only 1 pool for a lot of guests so sunbeds were gone by 7am as people were putting towels down. I really think this should be stopped and towels removed by staff before pool opening times Nearby beach is lovely , camp de mar has nothing in the area to do really but we disnt mind that at all. Just a heads up for anyone who doesnt know All in all we couldnt fault this hotel and had a really nice week here
