"Very beautiful green area, many Instagram locations, even a turtle was seen on the lawn. I wouldn't say the service was great. In a restaurant, you can wait half an hour for the waiter to come and offer you drinks. But the food is really tasty and everything is varied. The rooms are very simple, in rather strange colors, there is no master light, each light bulb had to be turned off with a separate switch, which are located throughout the room. Very strong audibility, we had a connection room, the door was locked, but you could even hear them breathing in the next room. The concept includes only local alcohol, so you can forget about basic Aperol or Baileys; 80 percent of the people staying at the hotel are Europeans, almost everyone just drinks beer. On the plus side, there is a great animation team and a lot of sports. For example, you could ride a banana boat, rent a kayak or stand-up paddle board for free. Or take a tennis class. Overall, it’s a great vacation; the main thing is to be prepared for some nuances."

Here is what we encountered: - We are not European tourist, so the front desk staff just brushed us off until we pushed back hard that we do have a reservation. - Did not want to honor the fact that we have booked the room with breakfast. They did not want to provide us with breakfast until we called Trip.com to help resolve. They then provide us breakfast at 10am. I suspect that they spit into my food. - the evening we arrived, we were heading down the elevator to check out the town. There was a ********** that came up to our floor to meet with her client."

"The hotel left a very pleasant impression! Excellent service and attentive staff. The room was spacious, cozy, and spotlessly clean, with housekeeping at a high level. The grounds are large, green, and very well-maintained, making it pleasant to stroll and relax. A special mention of the food: the breakfasts were simply superb, and the dinners were also varied and delicious. It's convenient that you can eat in the adjacent building (Regnum Crown), as everything is on the same premises. The lunches seemed a bit weaker, but overall the food was decent. Overall, the hotel exceeded expectations, and I would happily return!"

"This was our second time here. The entire staff is incredibly dedicated! It's very clean, the beds are good, and the food is superb. We always prefer the Elit +13 area because it's simply quieter there. It would be great if there were more non-alcoholic cocktails. During our first visit, there was a healthy mix of different nationalities. Unfortunately, this time it was very Russian-heavy (which unfortunately led to a lot of noise and a disregard for rules!). A huge thank you to Sude Hanim (Customer Services), who always went above and beyond to ensure our well-being! And also thanks again to the bellboy Mert! Everyone does more than they have to. We'd happily come back again!"

"I don’t usually return to the same hotel twice, but Maxx Royal is one of those rare exceptions - we are already planning to come back next year, most likely in May, hoping for slightly warmer weather than April. The best part of our stay was how much there is to do, especially with teenagers. We had so many opportunities to spend quality time together - playing basketball, paddle, volleyball, bowling, and even enjoying the arcade games almost every day. It really made the holiday feel active and memorable as a family. The resort itself is very spacious, and there are plenty of sun loungers, so it never felt crowded or stressful trying to find a place to relax. Our room was another highlight - very large, beautifully designed, with a stunning sea view and a balcony that we really enjoyed. We also really appreciated the indoor pool, which was heated to a very comfortable temperature, making it easy to use regardless of the weather. There is plenty of space throughout the hotel to relax and unwind. A big winner for us was the 24-hour restaurant - incredibly convenient and consistently good. In fact, we didn’t even feel the need to try the à la carte restaurants because the main buffet restaurant was already excellent. Breakfast in particular was outstanding. I’ve never seen so many different egg dishes in one place: fried, poached, boiled, with sausage, meat, cottage cheese and more. Everything was fresh, and it was great to see bread and pastries being prepared right in front of us. If I had to mention one small area for improvement, it would be the service details in the buffet restaurant. Tables were often not fully prepared, for example, we sometimes had multiple knives that weren’t suitable for cutting meat, or no dessert spoons at all. The service overall was good, but I can imagine this becoming more noticeable during peak season, so hopefully the hotel increases staffing accordingly. The only real disappointment for us was the jacuzzi in the spa. Unfortunately, during our stay in April, it was the coldest jacuzzi I have ever experienced, which made it difficult to enjoy. I do hope this will be improved in the future, as everything else about the spa area is excellent. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and truly felt that we made the right choice. Maxx Royal offers a great balance of luxury, space, and family-friendly activities and we are already looking forward to returning."

"Food - didn’t cater to vegetarians unless you wanted to live off salad. Grill for my partner was good but buffet was just there to make sure you weren’t hungry and my daughter lived of spaghetti and the ice cream parlours outside. Puddings great selection. A la Carte was simply diabolical. Outside snack bar the chefs and staff were amazing and this was my family and friends go to after having the skip the limited breakfast. Entertainment - 8:30pm for an hour was for the children and by daughter loved it. She honestly looked forward for it every evening. 9:30 adult entertainment was usually pretty good. Singers brilliant and the magician but having the Turkish anthem rammed down your throat for an hour whilst watching a man spin round in a cloak until he almost fell over dizzy followed by women jumping around screaming did actually give me a head ache and we got funny looks when we moved away from the entertainment area for not appreciating this extremely strange display! Entertainment staff - Ferro is honestly an asset to the business. I enjoyed his yoga class. His English was spot on and he would do rounds to make sure everyone outside by the pool and bar area were happy and content. He would advise on activities happening throughout the day and his energy was magnetic.Dogan was did a brilliant job being the DJ by the pool. again a really fun guy who would make sure all customers were happy and would spend time with you. We enjoyed evenings spent with both of these staff. Unfortunately the water sports lady part of their team seemed to be more interested in speaking to men and asking you if the man you had been seen spending your holiday with was your husband or not followed by inviting said husband (and my friends husband) out to town to drink leaving us mothers behind to watch children when we would have loved a night out ourselves! , maybe this short conversation was due to her lack on English, I am unsure? She would regularly walk around in thong bikinis at the beach dancing which i found a little inappropriate infront of young children but I suppose it was 32 degrees and maybe this is part of the job description? It’s just not something I’m used to when I go away to the Caribbean.. so Europe was a new experience and I’ll take note for future bookings. Sadly I did not get her name as she was not interested in speaking to families much. However our husbands did seem to enjoy their night out which dogan, ferro and this lady arranged. Bar staff - lady called gizem was amazing at cocktails. Unbelievably friendly. Tried extremely hard with her English and always made me feel welcome when I walked into the pool area. Beaming smile etc. A genuinely brilliant bar worker and I would visit the bar she worked on just to see her. The room - you could see each other showing and going toilet from the bed area, very odd!! Also my daughter’s pull out bed had no bed linen or quilt so we had to use a blanket we had bought along with us which she snuggled "
