CcarolienHotel very near the station, not more than 1 minute walking.
Very friendly welcome. Room was spacious and clean. Window could open and let in fresh air.
In the hotel there was a small restaurant for guests with a nice local food menu. Breakfast was simple, but good. Restaurant ladies were very friendly and helpfull.
They keep your luggage if you arrive early.
In kakunodate things close early (in november?) So take care that you arrange your dinner plans in time.

The traffic is convenient, clean, the dining is delicious, the boss is very hospitable, because I don’t know Japanese, the boss is very patient to use the mobile phone to translate Japanese into Chinese and communicate with me, because I have to catch the plane. The kitchen gets up early and prepares breakfast for me. After checking out, the boss used the translated text to tell me that the snowy road outside is very slippery, be careful, my heart is very warm

KKwok wah dannyIt is the first time to soak in a hot spring with strong acid water quality. It feels very special! After soaking, your whole body will feel very slippery, but be careful not to splash it into your eyes, as it will cause eye irritation! There is a Tamagawa Onsen Nature Research Trail near the hotel, where you can see many springs gushing out of the caves. A must-go! But the location is really far away, so it takes a lot of time!

GGuest UserTake nyuto line bus from tazawako station which will be about 840 yen. This is not the most famous onsen in that area because it is modern. Take the deal with breakfast and dinner included. No shops around.

GGuest UserThe hot springs are great. You can soak in the open-air hot spring right next to the snow.
It only takes about 10 minutes to drive to Tazawa Lake and Nyutogo Hot Spring, and the location is convenient.
But the food at dinner was really not that good.

LLeung Po KumThe hotel is on the mountainside and Nipple Hot Spring is on the mountain. It is best to travel by car. There are few buses. It is best to check the bus time! The hot spring hotel is relatively old-fashioned, and the rooms are very big. Most Japanese people live there, but few foreigners! But there are Chinese students doing part-time! There is a Guanyin Bodhisattva in the hotel isolation, and it only takes about 5 minutes to walk there! The hotel's dinner and breakfast are both buffets, and the food is mediocre, not much surprise! There is Aeon supermarket only at the bottom of the mountain, so it is best to go to the left supermarket before entering the hotel before going up the mountain!

There is no toilet in the room, which is inconvenient for the traditional wooden houses of the building, retro style, but there will be sound on the floor when walking up, which is easy to disturb the guests.
