Luxury Bed and Breakfast at Bossington Hall in Exmoor, Somerset

This was our third time at Bossington Hall and our first in nearly 3 years. It is still as wonderful as ever, improved by the increased honesty offering of snacks and drinks. Our room (Ivystone) was very spacious and comfortable. The huge bathroom was also impressive. We had previously stayed in Endercombe which was equally lovely. The breakfast is excellent, both in produce and service. The woman serving us was friendly, professorial and attentive. The food is beautifully cooked and the choice of continental options is good. This is a beautiful and special place.. we are already planning another trip.

This B & B is exceptional! The interior decor is in keeping with the building's age and has been curated wonderfully. Everywhere is really clean and well thought out; my room had a view to die for and was well equipped. Breakfast was varied and generous. I will be back.

The room (Haddon) was so comfortable & welcoming, we didn't really want to leave. The staff couldn't do enough to make you feel at home. Breakfast cooked to perfection. Lovely touch having binoculars in our room, we saw fox cubs playing, a hare & rabbits. The views to the sea & hills delightful. We'll definately come back.

We stayed for 2 nights and Bossington Hall was the perfect base to visit Dunster/Dunster Castle and Exmoor from. The rooms are spacious, clean and well equipped. Breakfast is freshly cooked to order and worth the wait. We took advantage of the honesty bar and thoroughly recommend Bossington. Guy is a great host and the staff are all attentive and friendly.

Thoroughly enjoyable stay. Pleasant atmosphere, stylish and comfortable, lovely grounds and great views of Exmoor and the sea.

We had a lovely relaxing break at Bossington Hall in June. This property is an Edwardian house which is now a beautiful bed and breakfast on the outskirts of Porlock in scenic countryside and far reaching views of the sea from certain rooms and the terrace. We stayed in Danesbrook room for 5 nights it is a spacious and comfortable room with en-suite shower . We were provided with bathrobes and slippers if needed. The breakfast room is an attractive room with the lovely views across the gardens to the sea. Guy and his staff provide a good choice of cooked options and a buffet before of cereal, fresh fruit and yoghurts. You certainly will not go hungry if you stay there. One piece of information we will include is that the hall is a short drive from the A39 down winding country lanes so just take your time as you approach the hall. It will be worth the effort on arrival. We would be happy to return again in the future to this attractive part of Somerset and Exmoor as still plenty to explore.
