Hotel Zu Den Drei Kronen

We choose this town as our last night in Germany before taking off crom Franfurt airport. This pleasant hotel is in the old part of town, perfect for walking to numerous restaurants and shops. Parking is in town but with a hotel issued permit, we were able to park right in front. There are stairs, no elevator to upper floors but this wasn't a problem for us. Rooms are medium sized and very clean. Nice breakfast buffet included. Very nice staff. Our room overlooked the front courtyard, and as it was Christmas holiday, afforded a lovely view. Airport was an easy 30 minute drive. Would stay here again.

The restaurant is the winner! Delectable, freshly made food every day. Wide selection foods and beverages. Superb Service. I’d give it 5 Stars. If you are one for convenience, you will also love the hotel. Yet, be aware, the hotel is NOT very suitable for the elderly due to steep steps leading up to the rooms. Free, speedy Wi-Fi (W-LAN) is available but signing up is made complicated. Some basic service could be approved upon, including German language skills! Our room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The bathroom lighting was insufficient and despite recent renovation toilet seat, toilet brush holder and electrical outlets seemed not have been fastened correctly moving away from the wall. I would recommend the staff and visitors not be allowed to smoke entrance area in the back as the cigarette smoke lingers throughout the entire hallways. Location is great with some noise as some rooms face a public area which sometimes host markets. There is lot to discover in this little historic town. Seligenstadt offers top notch dining, great shopping, plenty of history and relaxing trails to take a comfortable stroll along the Main River. The Hotel is still worth at least 3,5 Stars. OK value for the money. A more perfect hotel will cost you an extra 100 - 150 Euro!

Ich bin immer sehr zufrieden wenn ich bei euch bin und freue mich auf das leckere Essen.Die Zimmer sind nach dem Umbau sehr gemütlich und ich fühle mich sehr wohl bei euch. Hier fühlt man sich als Gast gut augehoben und die Mitarbeiter sind super freundlich.

Das Doppelzimmer für eine Nacht kostete 102 EUR. Der Preis war definitiv zu hoch. Die Zimmer waren groß und das Bett superbequem. Das Personal war freundlich. Supersauber war es nicht - doch für eine Nacht hat es seinen Zweck erfüllt. Wir fühlten uns wie in einem Motel in den USA. Eine große Auswahl an Hotels gibt es in Seligenstadt nicht. Ein Wochenende kann man ruhig im Hotel verbringen - mehr nicht.

Sehr saubere Zimmer, alles O.k. Zentral gelegen in der Altstadt, fußläufig zur Main Fähre Fahrradgarage mit Lademöglichkeit Leckere Gerichte im angeschlossenem Restaurant Gleich um die Ecke sind viele andere Restaurants zu empfehlen.

Nichts besonderes und am Ende wird man noch übers Ohr gehauen!! Das Essen kann maximal als mittelmäßig gewertet werden. Bei der Abrechnung aufpassen! Uns wurde am Tisch kein Beleg ausgehändigt. Da uns der Abrechnungsbetrag nicht plausibel vorkam, wir waren nuf 4 Petsonen, wurde im Nachhinein ein Rechnungsbeleg angefordert. Es kam sofort einige Nervosität auf!! Tatsächlich wurde ein Gericht (Pizza) doppelt abgerechnet. Bei der pbetsichtlichen Anzahl von Gerichten und Personen ganz sicher kein Zufall…..Touristennepp !
