Promenade Inn & Suites Oceanfront

The room was incorrect but the staff fixed it and they were very helpful. The new room had someone else’s leftovers and a used coffee pod in the coffee maker with no available coffee for our use. Overall it was still a decent a stay. No air conditioning just box fans but we survived.

This is an older hotel in a great location. Pay the extra for a view. The beds are old and need to be replaced as of this date July 2023. The first room one can tell the bed needed to be replaced by the look. Then attempting to sleep, it was lumpy. I had to complain to front desk and they moved us rooms and that bed too was old but better than the first room. The one person at the front desk did us good.

Room was small but comfortable and clean. The stairs were quite troublesome during the rain but was very thankful that they did have two elevators, no ice machine on the 3rd floor( which is where we were) fridge was nice size and very very clean! coffee in room was a plus we had a room with no view but it did have a bathtub and check in was easy and check out was even easier!

Sue checked us in and she was so welcoming and made sure we had all questions answered. Great amenities and views!

The walls were thin and we could hear parents and kids yelling at eachother. Then the pool and hot tub closed before we could use it due to a “biohazard”.

I’ve stayed at this hotel many times in the past I’m sure you can view history on that and have loved each and every stay, which is why I continue to keep coming back. Unfortunately, this day was completely different upon arriving in my room, a strange odor was present not describable of anything I’ve smelled before I’m not one to complain, so I opened up the balcony door and carried on entering the shower. There was a decent size wad of the hair that I once again dismissed, and washed down the drain. a little frustrating but took a deep breath, and reminding myself that people are human and can miss things. Once again, not a big deal moved on with my evening. Went to go use hand soap after using the restroom. No soap to wash my hands with… My final straw was when my Chapstick fell out of my purse and bounced off the carpet under the bed I got down on my knees to see where it had went and grabbed it upon that finding a dirty white sock, which I will attach a photo of that I have kindly left for the staff to clean because I do not feel that’s my responsibility to take care of, maybe the maid that was banging on my door at 9 AM repeatedly yelling maid can take care of it. So much for sleeping on vacation. Remind me again check out is 11 AM?? why are we knocking on peoples door so early overall I’m very saddened with my experience here and cannot say that I feel I will return in the future with this experience. I feel my room was not cleaned and for the price I payed that seems

The elevator was frustratingly slow. Only 4 of the 5 light bulbs over the bathroom sink worked. We had 1 trash basket, no Kleenex, no napkins/paper towels. No dish soap to clean dishes we wanted to use. The bed and pillows were nice. The ocean view rooms are convenient for beach access and shops in the area. The pool was warm but the jacuzzi jets in the hot tub didn’t work, I’d book again if the rates were a great deal but it will never be a first choice for us.

This hotel is in need of a big renovation. It has potential, but the minor updates over the years are bandaid fixes holding the place together. Apparently it's under new ownership and they are supposedly working to improve it. We were given a room that was dark and dirty and the toilet seat was barely attached. We told them and they moved us to a room with a less broken but still loose toilet and it seemed a little cleaner but it was missing the shear curtain. It was disappointing that the hot tub was broken. Despite all this, it was reasonably priced. You get what you pay for.

For the price it was a good stay. The bed was hard but the room was clean and had a view of the ocean. I had the loft queen room and it was cute. Dated, but cute. The staff was friendly and the heat in the room worked well. It had a strong hot shower and the tub was nice. The room was cleaned while I was out at the beach and everything was as it should have been
