Travelodge Scotch Corner A1 Southbound

I booked two rooms both were clean and pretty much the same as other Travelodge hotels. Th reception area was clean with a drinks machine and supplies of tea, coffee etc., for guests to help themselves. Nice receptionists and simple to sign in. The room was smaller than usual but still big enough for a King size (very comfy) bed, dressing tabe/desk with chair, and an easy chair. All in good condition. My only gripe is the lack of a net curtain as overlooking the car park so had to keep the curtains more or less closed in the morning as don't want to frighten people :)) Decent size bathroom with a shower over the bath, the bath had railings which is handy. If travelling with a disabled person I only saw two wide disabled bays and one normal sized disabled bay, I mention this as I used to travel with a wheelchair user. Otherwise plenty of parking but does seem to fill up early. Greggs, Smiths, Costa etc., on site as well as a petrol station. There are also quite a few electric charging points.

Best stay at a Travelodge. Clean and tidy room and bathroom. Friendly and helpful staff. Sarah was on reception duty when we arrived and she was extremely helpful. She told us everything we needed to know regarding our stay.

Very Good overnight stay during half-way break of 300+ mile journey. Clean and comfortable accommodation. Very reasonable cost with mid-day checkout.

Ideal for travellers for short stays. Hotel is ideally situated for Yorkshire Wedding Barns venue. Nice clean comfortable hotel.

Plenty parking, excellent reception, room impeccable and everything worked. First class staff. Couldn’t fault it. Thank you.
