When booking this hotel I was searching for a few criteria, one of them being Air Conditioning. As we checked in, the receptionist didn’t do a thing except hand me a tablet that I had to fill and the keys. It would have been cheaper for the hotel to have just a tablet as they’re as useful. I explained to the receptionist it was her job to fill all that info, she insisted… The AC advertised is false advertising as it doesn’t work for a while already as a management decision. I called the reception and asked for a remote to the AC (it physically is in the room) and was told they will check and get back to me in “just a few minutes”. After half an hour I went down to the receptionist and explained it was too hot in the room. Once again I was told to wait and the manager would check it. The lying games by the hotel manager and receptionist continued and throughout our stay, with solutions such as “we have another room for you where we opened the windows” to which I responded “does it miraculously maintain the cold temperature after you close the windows?” Ira got inside, the hotel is surrounded by roads and a rail track. I paid to be on vacation and part of it includes sleeping how much I want! The only positive part of the vacation was the f&b team who were super friendly, polite and helpful. Guess what, they are not local!

Highly recommended! Exceptional service. We loved the spa and garden pool, perfect for spending the afternoon there. Very close to the bike park and cable car, and you get the ticket at the hotel. Food is delicious, so many options for breakfast and dinner, also vegan and gluten free corner! During the day, bar at the lobby is opened where you can get some snacks or lunch. Order vegetarian bowl, the best bowl I’ve ever ate. I am coming back just for that!

I came here to see the snow on the mountain. And I went up to see snow on a 2700 meter high mountain. It was my first experience of snow. It's very good, excellent. I felt proud of myself for doing something I had never done before. Moreover, your hotel is a very beautiful hotel. I like nature I love my bedroom, living room, where my room has a picturesque mountain view. And your breakfast is very delicious. I like omelets, I really like fruit. The waiters take great care of their customers. Everyone is polite and cute. And I really like the full body massage also.

Really lovely location, extremly friendly staff, the hotel facility is great, spa treatment absolutly to recommend, food experience is fantastic, regional products, fresh and a big variety. Really one of the best stays for a long weekend to relax!

Excellent service throughout the hotel. Great location - the buses make it easy to visit the area for hiking etc.. Nice spa and pool facilities. The restaurant serves fantastic food- great quality and variety ! We would go back in a heartbeat! We recommend a visit to the Dachstein Mountains too!

A truly delightful experience. The hotel was one of the nicest we've ever stayed in. The staff were fantastic, the service excellent and the food was sensational. Really nice contemporary feel throughout and the room was perfect. Fabulous summer holiday which I can't recommend highly enough.

Just completed another extended stay at our beloved Falkensteiner Hotel Schladming and everything was perfekt! From the beautiful manager, Sonja, to every member of the team, we were lavished with generous, heartfelt Styrian hospitality of the finest quality! The staff, the food, the facilities, the setting and the value are exceptional in every way. It is always hard to leave and we can’t wait to return to you again soon! Bis Bald ️❤️
