The Cordelia

I can only echo the views expressed in all the previous 5 star reviews. The Cordelia is a lovely B&B well located in the South Cliff area of Scarborough just a short walk from the esplanade with its paneramic sea views and beautifull gardens. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean with a very comfortable king sized bed and a nice en suite showeroom including good quality complementery toiletries. Breakfast was plentyful and delicious with a good selection of quality produce. Thanks to Rebecca, her mum and staff who were all very warm, friendly and welcoming. We had a lovely stay. Absolutely beautiful stay, we couldn't be happier with our choice. The host was really friendly and approachable, we even have a number to text should we need anything. The breakfast was outstanding, a really special treat. We walked into town most days and an uber was about £3. A minutes walk to see the sea, the most stunning location

Excellent B and B ! Rebecca s breakfasts are amazing, fresh tasty and very prompt. Room was immaculate, the bed really comfortable. Huge bathroom. Beautiful building well furnished. Located on the South side, in a very quiet area, close to amenities. Can’t praise this establishment enough.

We are repeat customers to the Cordelia, Why, because it's a fabulous place to stay, when visiting Scarborough. 100% recommend it! Lovely accommodation with good quality sheets and towels and the most comfy beds, The breakfast is so nice with lots of choice with good local produce, Parking is no problem, on the street with a permit, kindly ready for your arrival There is a added extra if your not bothered to go out for supper in the form of shared supper plates, choosing Cheese or Charcuterie, very tasty! The location is in a quiet street but 5 mins walk to one of the Cliff lifts, taking you down to South Bay, the Italian Gardens are close by too We loved our two night stay and will be back, thanks!

Our go to stay in Scarborough and yet again does not disappoint, room 4 which is spacious and comfy. All the added extras are thought off and high quality, lovely bedding and towels which is a bonus when away. The breakfast is all fresh and because you fill in a menu the day before it is ready when you are all cooked perfectly even the poached eggs are runny. I love looking at all the art work and accessories in the rooms and the building is beautifully kept. Would recommend.

My husband and I walked the Cleveland Way, a British national trail, and we spent the final two nights of the trip at the Cordelia in Scarborough. Our room was spacious and comfortable, including a comfy bed, a seating area, and a huge ensuite bathroom with plentiful hot water. We were there on Easter weekend, and our hostess was very welcoming. Breakfast was included, with plenty of choices. This hotel also offers a couple of tasty supper options, a board with local cheese and/or meats, which we enjoyed after we completed the hike. When it was time for us to leave, we were allowed to store our luggage and to keep our keys until it was time for us to go to the train station. We enjoyed our stay at the Cordelia very much, and we hope we will have an opportunity to return.
