Mansion House

Another lovely stay at Mansion House. After years of trying to find good accommodation in Scarborough, we're so glad that we found this charming place a few years ago. This was our 4th stay and it goes from strength to strength. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the linens and soft furnishings are top notch and the atmosphere is comfy. The ownership obviously takes great pride in their business and it shows. We have stayed at many other places in Scarborough including The Crown Hotel which is consistently named the top hotel in town but believe us, THE MANSION HOUSE IS THE BEST ACCOMMODATION IN SCARBOROUGH.

The Mansion House is just the best, from the minute we arrived to the minute we left we were made to feel so welcome. The rooms are clean and comfortable. We stayed in the Great Escape, definitely the best suite we have ever stayed in. Everything you needed was there. Breakfast was just what we needed to set us up for a busy day at the conference we were attending. All the staff were so helpful they put the guests at the centre of everything they do.

Comfortable and well appointed with various nice additional touches to make this a very enjoyable stay in the mahogany apartment. Quality breakfast and free prosecco plus extras like robes made for a likely return trip when next up this way.

Stayed a couple of nights ,attending a wedding at the Spa ..room was amazing and had a spectacular view (the binoculars were a great touch) Breakfast was lovely and food was spot on ...staff were all friendly and lovely .. got parked right outside too ...will definitely be back

We have just had two nights at this hotel and what an absolute pleasure it has been. We were in room 7 and were not disappointed, the room had everything we needed and more! The bed was extremely comfortable, the en-suit shower room had lot of towels (and even a special flannel for make up removable), lots of toiletries and all immaculately clean and I particularly loved the light up mirror. On arrival we were given commentary drinks and a warm welcome. Breakfast was delicious and perfect poached eggs each morning. So much choice and served by friendly staff. There are tables and benches on the front terrace which we used to sit in the sun and enjoy a drink from the bar. The lounge has an honesty bar which we used each night too and we sat in the rocking sofa chairs in the lounge looking out to the beautiful views of Scarborough by night. We have truly loved our stay and would highly recommend this hotel if you’re looking for something a bit special. We will definitely be making a return visit.

A really friendly hotel, staff very pleasant and approachable. Our room was comfortable and spotless. We had a good breakfast with more choices that we didn’t want any lunch! We both said if you are going to Scarborough this would be an excellent one to choose. Thanks
