Amaia Boutique Hotel

The hotel is attached to their own Amaia NIGHT CLUB. So, if you plan to sleep before 3:30am, or really anytime between 8pm and 4am you will be listening to club music while your bed vibrates to the beats. At least you can enjoy the lyrics, since it's so loud. The pool is very nice looking, but I didn't see a single guest use it. The rooms were clean, bathrooms clean, and big TV. The room was the size of a shoebox for $150 USD I really expected way way more. After the first night I asked them to cancel my 3rd night so I could leave early, but they denied my request to refund, blaming it on Trip.com policy and outside factors they can't control (the noise coming from their own 'Amaia nightclub'). I have a feeling they weren't sympathetic to my request since I'm sure every guest that stays here didn't pay $150 to sleep in a nightclub, and they get this complaint every single time a new guest gets out of bed. Also the garden rooms are really just pool side, they don't open into a 'garden' 🙄 That's one reservation I wish I could take back.

The hotel is directly underneath the Amaia club which blasts music past 3 am most nights. Sometimes people were directly above us, talking loudly, until 5 am. Even when the Amaia club was not open, nearby clubs would play music till 3 am, making it very difficult to sleep (even with earplugs/headphones). Even if you could drown out the noise, the bed would be vibrating from the music. This was not mentioned on the website. The hot water in the shower would only last for a few minutes at a time, becoming lukewarm but hot again if you left it running. The water pressure was not great. There are no windows in the rooms. Two of the rooms are connected to the reception area (people always talking outside your door) and not the cute little courtyard.

Amaia Boutique Hotel has the perfect location in Sayulita - right in the main square and less than 2 min walk from the beach. The receptionist was incredibly sweet and friendly, we were treated with so much care and kindness. The hotel is beautiful, with a lush garden and a small heated pool, so nice! Our room was lovely and the bedsheets were the softest we have ever slept in. We also loved the smell of the conditioner. Thank you Amaia for a beautiful welcome and a great stay.

Hay un bar arriba del airbnb y se escucha absolutamente todo, te da tapones para los oídos pero aun con eso traspasa el sonido, el lugar es muy bonito lastima el tema del bar si el bar no estuviera sin duda llegaría de nuevo pero prefiero poder dormir a un lugar bonito
