Great hotel, the manager was one of the nicest and most polite people we have ever come across. We got there for 2 nights as part of a jungle safari trip from Kathmandu with our 15 month old son which is challenging to say the least - they did everything to help us including preparing special meals for him. The rooms were spacious and tidy and the location is great right next to the Chitwan river where all cafes and bars are and of course right next to the jungle. The tour guide for the safari was an amazing individual with great manners and an amazing sense of humour- quick thinking and always willing to help. Highly recommended.

We live in Nepal and have stayed here on multiple occasions over the years. It's a great choice for visiting Sauraha, particularly because of the pleasant, lush garden space and relaxed, charming vibe. It's not on the "main drag," which is basically just a long street with shops and some restaurants on the river, but close enough for an easy walk and in a peaceful setting. As with other hotels in Nepal tourist spots, they'll arrange activities for you if you want (permits, bookings, airport transportation etc.) We've recommended it to friends.

Wonderful! This was one of the last stops on our tour of Nepal. The property was beautiful. Our guide, Hari, was fantastic. The pool was so nice to relax in and grounds were beautiful and relaxing. We had a jungle tour in a Jeep and a walking jungle tour. We visited the elephant breeding grounds and we went for a boat ride and enjoyed the cultural presentation in the nearby Tharu village. Hari was extremely knowledgeable and professional and very friendly and made the tour and the whole visit excellent. Highly recommend.

We stayed in Hotel Parkland in Chitwan for 3 nights waiting for the monsoon rains to stop. It is a beautiful hotel with gorgeous gardens and very friendly staff. Our rooms were spacious with clean comfortable beds and bathrooms. We loved the food served and the tranquility of the location. Listening to the rain outside of our windows was amazing. Out local guide Hari was professional and very impressionable. We enjoyed our elephant safari, our canoe ride through the crocodile infested river ... :) and our walk through the jungle. Thanks Hari for making me go... I loved the experience!

Loved my time at Hotel Parkland. The staff are all so so nice and accommodating. Hari our guide was the best - so knowledgeable and attentive. He made our itinerary and any necessary changes we needed. Hotel Parkland took care of everything in regard to us experiencing Chitwan National Park. What a great experience. All their staff was amazing!!!

Very good hotel/resort. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. very friendly and attentive staff, food is excellent and they were very accommodating and considerate towards our special requests /dietary restrictions. Hotel premises are lush green and very relaxing ambience. Hotel owner was around to personally check on all guests. The hotel arranged all our local activities including safari, which was quite convenient. A minor point is that floors in rooms were not very clean. Nevertheless, we had a good time during our stay there.

Everything was perfect at this charming hotel close to the Chitwan National Park. The rooms are very comfortable. I slept with the windows open with a screen both nights. Their meals were very good and included with the price. Breakfast, lunch and dinner. All of their staff is friendly and helpful with anything you may need. I highly recommend this hotel when visiting Chitwan.

This place was so great! It blew all of my expectations. We stayed three nights, 4 days. The activities (walking safari, 2x jeep safari, boat ride and cultural show) were so well organised and absolutely incredible!! Our guide Babu was so great, professional and knowledgeable. The rooms were very comfortable with good amenities, warm shower, good water. The food was great and catered to vegan dietary requirements. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel itself was a perfect mix of social while remaining quiet. Couldn’t recommend this place more!

We stayed 3 nights at hotel parkland and were made to feel welcome upon arrival. The grounds are absolutely beautiful with a lush garden, pool area and delicious meals prepared from the kitchen. The rooms were airy and comfortable. The staff are so helpful and kind. Babu was the best guide we had all trip, his knowledge about the national park, its wildlife and local culture is second to none. He really made the safari and stay so interesting and fun. At night there were activities like visiting the local cultural hall where you can watch Tharu dancing, which I highly recommend, and good chats/singing songs by the campfire. Overall, I strongly recommend you stay here! A highlight of our trip in Nepal for certain. Thanks Babu and the staff!
