Pugdundee Safari- Denwa Backwater Escape

We had a wonderful experience at Denwa Backwater Escape. It was a breath taking experience for us. The property was very peaceful and attractive. The staffs were very polite and respectful. We stayed in a treehouse which was well appointed and maintained. The food was very delicious it seemed like we were getting food like home. I was particularly impressed by the beauty of the nature. I would like to thank Prashant for making my stay a memorable one.

What an Amazing property is denwa backwater living like a jungle dream.fabulous lush green surrounding with amazing hospitality from well mannered staff.sumptous foods .can't explain my explain my experience in words.it has completely detoxes my soula nd body keep the good work.

An amazing place to stay; we stayed there for 2 nights. The rooms are spacious and beautifully designed. The sit-out area and the views are simply amazing. The view from the library and restaurant was also great. Enjoyed the boat safari and the jeep safari arranged by Pugdundee. Many thanks to Mr. Kshitij for helping my 11-year-old son in understanding insects better. It was a great experience and hope to leverage YNAT someday soon. One thing that could be better is the lighting in the library, which I found to be low. All areas were reasonably well lit in the evenings, except the library :). If the management could fix that issue, it would be great for the guests to sit there longer and read books and/or play other board games. There were bicycles available to explore the countryside too, but we did not get time for that. Highly recommended place.

Nestled in the wilderness with absolutely breathtaking views, my stay at Denwa was nothing short of amazing. The rooms were absolutely perfect- comfortable, well appointed and luxurious. The hospitality, absolutely scrumptious food and meals and the beauty of Satpura, this place has it all. The manager Prashant is absolutely amazing. He ensured that all needs were taken care off, organized some great activities such as boating and jungle walks and always asked if we needed something. His team is absolutely amazing too- Kshitij and the rest of the team are extremely knowledgeable and the best part of the stay was having meals at their dining which has the most amazing view of the backwaters

We had a fantastic weekend getaway with family at Denwa Backwater Escape. The stay was great—clean, aesthetically pleasing rooms with scenic views and excellent hospitality. The jungle safari was a highlight; we spotted wild animals, including a tiger! The friendly staff made our experience even better. We'd love to visit again! Highly recommended.

This is an amazing place ... The food here is the best ...the staff is also very well trained and humble ...just had the best time staying here...was there for 2 days and every time of our stay was purely a bliss each member was truly happy to be there

We visited Denwa Backwater Escape in Madhai In June 2024 and must say that the experience was one of its kind. Everything about the stay from accomodation to food to staff to amenities was on point. The staff was extremely courteous and accomodative to our requirements. The property is super amazing with beautiful views. It is a single use plastic-free resort. This initiative of theirs to make their property plastic-free is applaud worthy. They want to make their guests feel valued and have the most wonderful time during stay which makes the stay at this property unique and memorable. Will definitely plan to visit this property again during winters !!

We had a wonderful stay at Denwa Backwater Escape. The grounds of the property are so peaceful and beautiful and there is nature everywhere. We stayed in the treehouses which were well appointed and had stunning views of the backwater. Air conditioning was effective too. There are WiFi dongles in the rooms, so you can stay connected if you wish. There is a pool on site with some sunbeds and chairs. We were the only guests staying at the property, so it felt very exclusive; they do only have a capacity of 20, and all cottages are spread out, so even if it was full, I am sure it would feel as private and exclusive. The staff were all lovely. Our naturalist Aman, who accompanied us on a nature walk and safari, spoke perfect English and was very knowledgable. Prashand and Jay were also very friendly. The meals served at the property were amazing. Unfortunately, I didn't get the head chef's name, but he was excellent when it came to specific requests (we had quite a few!), honouring all of them without compromising the quality of the food whatsoever. Pankaj, who served us in the restaurant, was also very friendly. I would absolutely recommend staying here, and of course doing the safari. We didn't get to see any tigers, but you never know when you might! There are loads of other animals to be spotted, too. Thank you for the amazing experience!

I recently had the pleasure of revisiting Pugdundee Safari for the fourth time, and once again, it proved to be an enchanting experience that surpassed all expectations. A three-night, four-day stay in this wildlife heaven.. From the warm welcome at the reception to the seamless check-in process, the staff ensures that guests feel like cherished members of the Pugdundee family. From the -pumping jeep safaris to the serene boat safaris ***** the river, every outing was an opportunity to witness the incredible biodiversity that surrounds the property. The expert naturalist Mr Jaidev shared their wealth of knowledge, making each safari not just an adventure but also an educational experience. Exploring the jungle on two wheels with naturalist Mr Jaidev added a new dimension to my stay. Waking up to the sound of flowing water and being greeted by stunning sunrise and sunset views from the balcony added a touch of tranquility to the overall experience. Deers gracefully running through the resort. The chefs consistently outdo themselves with a diverse menu that celebrates local flavors . Each meal was a delightful exploration of taste, and the attentive staff ensured that every dining experience was a highlight of the day. The highlight of my visit was the exhilarating jeep safaris that took us deep into the heart of the jungle. Guided by knowledgeable naturalists, we embarked on an adventure that included sightings of tigers, bears, four-horned antelope, owls, and even crocodiles. The thrill of witnessing a tigress and her cubs enjoying a meal was a truly mesmerizing and rare experience that surpassed any safari expectations. I must express my deepest gratitude to the entire staff for their exceptional service. From the front desk to the kitchen and the dedicated naturalists, every member contributed to making this stay truly memorable.
