Casa Margô

I spent 4 days at Casa Margô when I landed in Portugal for a 2 week stay. Staff were extremely helpful and accessible via chat even when they were not present. My studio was spotless and the bed was one of the most comfortable hotel beds I have slept in. As I was working during the day, the internet connection was important and it was perfect. The kitchenette is complete (more than I needed for my short stay). Highly recommended!

We stayed in one of their one-bedroom apartments with a mezzanine, and WOW, was it beautiful. Such a great place to stay with a teen who loved his private lofted area. The whole apartment is impeccably designed and also just plain comfortable. And the staff was wonderful: thoughtful, helpful... Highly recommend Casa Margo if you are staying in Old Town Lagos!

This was a beautiful, spotless place with two pillow sizes and comfortable sheets. Well located, one of my best places ever to stay! Martha, at the reception, welcomed us and was terrific at providing us with information—precisely what you see on the website!

Perfect location! The free supply of Nespresso capsules and oranges was fab! The room was spacious and clean. Just some suggestions for improvement: 1. We acknowledged the butter and jam was a courtesy for the 1st day only for our 7 days stay for a family of 4, but it'd have been much appreciated if our request to refill it for once during our whole stay was not turned down. I believe it won't cost much, and most families won't ask for it on daily basis. 2. Two light bulbs on the wall-mounted lights were reported non-functioning upon our arrival. One was replaced timely but not the other one even during our whole stay. 3. It'd be better to provide simple instructions for standard settings of the air conditioning unit on the remote controls and those for the blinds. It took some time from us and even the manager to re-set them for proper functioning. 4. To be more environmentally friendly, all the towels don't have to be re-collected by the housekeeping staff daily. There could be instructions to return only those required by the users for laundry. 5. It'd be better to ask the occupants to specify the time of going out of the room each day to allow daily house cleaning as the cleaner won't do any cleaning when there's any occupant inside the room. And we're informed there's no cleaning on Sundays. Overall it's a good valued stay!

Was offered a room upgrade upon check in which was very nice. Oranges & orange juice presser was provided, we enjoyed making it in the mornings. Location of the place is fantastic, room is modern, nice, clean, bed & pillows comfortable, and staff were wonderful. Highly recommend staying in Casa Margo

The apartment was beyond belief amazing for my family of 5. 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms extremely clean and modern! Felt like brand new and very comfortable like home. The facilities are beautiful. Catarina who helped us during our stay was beyond amazing! The hotel recommended us places to eat , took photos of our family and helped us with beach and pool toys available at front desk. We also got to take food and wine to their sister hotel Salty Lodge for a dinner rooftop at that hotel one night. Casa Margo is ideally located in the center of old town walkable to numerous restaurants, the marina and the beach! We loved Praia de estudiantes beach for our kids it was crystal clear no seaweed and calm! My daughter forgot her stuffed animal and the front desk helped me get it back and got it at airport before our departure! We would definitely recommend and return. We wished we stayed at Casa Margo for our entire trip instead of only a couple of nights. We will be back! Cannot recommend this highly enough:) don’t hesitate just go .
