Ulasan RK Beach Hotel

Awesome hotel. Before we even came Petro (manager) was responding to our questions, arranger our rooms to be next to each other, arrange cheaper taxi to Oia for us, gave us hotel towels for the beach last day do we can pack ours.Breakfast was rich, rooms were spacious and cleaned daily and wifi sigbal was good!

We really enjoyed Kamari and the hotel. The hotel is on the beach walk, no cars is allowed so there is a 3-5 min walk from where the bus/taxi stops. Lots of restaurants and shops right outside the hotel. There are plenty of “beach clubs” all along the beach where you can stay for free as long as you buy drinks or lunch. Never crowded, chairs for everyone. The restaurant in front of the hotel (different owner but connected to the hotel) is very good and Alex on the beach is very service minded. The beach itself is black sand which gets very hot, shoes are recommended. The beach is not for children or elderly, it’s steep and gets deep very fast. There are a lot of massage saleswomen at the beach, they can be a bit pushy. The hotel is a bit quirky, the rooms are quite small. But it’s clean, has everything you need and the location is perfect. We stayed a week in a superior room with ocean view. You see and hear all planes landing but you are not right under them as in some hotels. The staff are amazing, everyone from reception, to housekeeping to breakfast were wonderful. The concierge were very helpful. The breakfast is basic with some variation everyday, we enjoyed it. The pool area is large compared to other hotels in the area. If we return to Kamari we would definitely consider RK again. I can highly recommend it, it’s great value for money.

We stayed at the RK beach hotel for 5 days and had an good experience. The hotel is located right at the best beach on all of Santorini overlooking the sea. The hotel location is near the flight path of the island's airport (hence a 4 out of 5 stars). The pool is nice, the rooms are clean, the breakfast is so-so. The staff was super friendly. The best was the hotel pup, a white Alopekis, a small, very sweet foxlike dog breed that originates from the ancient Greeks. We recommend this hotel and the more private Kamari village over the mass tourist locations of Thira and Oia.

Nice hotel for the price we paid, room was adequate and the pool and views were lovely, what really made our stay was how fantastic the hotel owner was and all the staff were very accommodating,even allowing us to check in early as our flight arrived early in the morning. Would stay again if we were in Kamari

Gem of a find in a great little corner of Santorini. Don’t get me wrong we had serious reservations reading reviews but we found it to be great - although basic- amongst an array of IG Hotels. Rooms are clean, pool area is lovely, proximity to beach is excellent. Negatives we experienced on our stay were unfortunately a pair of shorts were stolen from balcony, and staff not interested ( other reviews said this too) breakfast is basic, and again unfortunately staff not very friendly.. but that’s not always a bad thing! Who likes that overly friendly approach! Perfect for our less than well behaved teenagers!

Do not book this hotel. The price is way too expensive for what it is and you can find much better places around Kamari. The pool and the jacuzzi are not accurate with pictures. The bed is really bad and the rooms are quite basic. Not the best breakfast either. They advertised for laundry which is inexistant and really old air con system. The room doesn’t smell well, we booked a better hotel for the end of our holidays for cheaper next door with incredible prestations. Disappointed ! However really friendly staff !

We stayed at the RK beach hotel for 9 days and had an amazing experience. The hotel is beautifully located, overlooking the sea. The location is great, there are endless very nice restaurants on walking distance. The host of the hotel is really friendly and was constantly joking around, all the other staff were also super helpful and sweet. Great experience, would recommend!

Spent two nights was great location and property. Staff was awesome and helpful, parked our rental car on nearby street with no issues. Would come back good value and staff are great! Cleaning crew for property is great too always clean and safe place

So it got 2 stars for a nice pool area and fab location. That’s where the positives end, we’ll sorry the bar staff were friendly too. Rooms are very very basic and a bit shoddy there was wires coming out of the bathroom fittings, air con didn’t work, shower leaked/ dripped a good bit. Got served a burger at the pool side bar that wasn’t cooked through, to be fair the bar staff they were nice and they took it back I didn’t want another they didn’t charge me. We travelled to attend a family wedding, there was no iron in the room and only one available from reception which we had to wait a day for and give back straight after use. Like use if an iron is standard the world over. My brother made and cancelled a booking we swapped bookings and took his as he had more days, anyway the hotel allowed this we had all the correspondence and paid in full. Yet when we arrived they insisted I hadn’t paid in full and owed an additional 182euro I explained I paid showed the receipts and communication with the hotel, outlining the change. Even though we explained the reception staff continually chased me around the hotel asking me to explain and saying I owed money. In one case I resent all the mails and wrote down the chain of events with the receptionist but again they kept asking me about it. After three days of this I said you need to get the manger I’m not discussing this anymore it’s ruining my holiday and quite embarrassing to be honest. Manager came read the communication and agreed, but by that stage it had ruined my holiday.

Nous avons passé une super semaine dans cet hôtel les membres du personnel sont tous exceptionnels. La chambre nous a était attribué après que notre premier hôtel a eu un problème mais nous vins été bien accueilli une chambre avec jacuzzi !!

Wir sind im Rahmen einer Rundreise in diesem Hotel untergebracht worden. Es gibt ein paar Kleinigkeiten die wir uns anders gewünscht hätten, aber nicht wirklich der Erwähnung wert wären. Das Frühstück ist Basic und in Ordnung. Matratzen sind ok, und die Zimmer sauber. Die Lage des Hotels im Ort Kamari, ist eher so Schinkenstrasse mit gehobenem Niveau, dafür einen Punktabzug. Ansonsten haben wir unseren Aufenthalt, auch wegen dem sehr freundlichen Personal, in guter Erinnerung

Super employés/ professionnels / aimables / accueillants. Face à la mer. Bien installé En revanche .... : j'ai eu le plafond de la chambre qui s'est effondré à 23h !! J'étais seule avec mon enfant de 6 ans, et fort heureusement cela sest effondré aux pieds de notre lit ! Nous avons été relogés immédiatement (la base j'ai envie de dire) j'ai demandé un remboursement de la nuitée .. après 15 jours l'hôtel n'a daigné y répondre !!! Et c'est à mon sens un gros manque de respect envers ses clients, apporter une réponse après un tel incident est la moindre des choses Nous avons été relogés le soir même au rez-de-chaussée de chaussée avec jaccuzi est un fait ! Mais ce dernier ne fonctionnait pas c'est un fait aussi. Le jaccuzi n'était à mon sens pas nécessaire. Le zéro retour de l'hôtel sur la demande de remboursement alors que j'ai été conciliante +++ sur le moment est plus que limite. Il a fallu que je passe par l'agence très pro qui malgré plusieurs relances n'a daigné y répondre.

Bellissima reception e l'ingresso con piscine curate. Purtroppo la camera assegnata a noi non era confortevole anche se aveva la vista mare. Personale distratto e poco accogliente. Colazione sotto la media. Non è un quattro stelle!!!

Direi più che un hotel una semplice pensione...camera maleodorante...aria condizionata rumorosissima...solo ottima la posizione...piscina con lettini quasi sempre in ombra...se volete spiaggia dovete pagare 20 euro al giorno....colazione un disastro...non preparano neanche i tavoli con stoviglie....direi non consigliabile
