Agia Irini

We spent 4 nights at the Agia Irini hotel in September 2023. The welcome was wonderful. They were very helpful in giving us information on tours and restaurants. The hotel is located in a less busy location than those overlooking the Caldera. You will probably need a car to do your sightseeing. From the Agia Irini hotel, access to parking lots to visit Oia and Fira is very easy with distances of around 7 to 10 km on an easy road. The hotel is also close to the airport and the beautiful, less busy villages located in central Santorini. The rooms are very comfortable. We really liked the breakfasts for which you can choose several items from a very complete menu. The terrace and swimming pool offer a beautiful, quiet location to relax and watch the sunrise over the sea.

Location- 15 minutes from the airport and 15 minutes from Fira. Transport needed but everywhere accessible by Taxi. Hotel- 12 room bed and breakfast. Cosy room which was spotlessly cleaned every day. Breakfasts were lovely. The owner Mr Vaggelis has to be the best host I have ever encountered- a 3 delay meant we didn't arrive until 11pm but nothing was too much trouble, and that theme was ever-present. A definite must stay if you want tranquility but to be within a 15 minute journey to Fira or Oia.

It is a very nice hotel with an ideal swimming pool with incredible views. Our sea view room with balcony was perfect. There is a calm there that is perfectly restful. If I recommend a car because although it is close to everything you cannot walk. Vaggelis's attention is unbeatable, he is very nice and explains very well what to see on the island and where to eat and gives you contact for transfers and car rental. And everything you ask is here to help you. He and his family are very friendly. We carry you in the heart Vaggelis.

Amazing property to stay away from the crowd. Vaggelis tells you all you need to do so you can see the whole Island in 2-3days. I highly recommend the Katamarang as it was magical! Visit Kamari beach and do the bus tour because you learn so much about the history of santorini. An amazing unforgettable trip; thank you Vaggelis x

We had a wonderful stay at Agia Iriní. We arrived and Vaggelis immediately sat down with us to help us re-plan our trip (lost a day due to the ferry). His advice was so helpful and we felt like we really got to see Santorini! The hotel itself is stunning and tranquil. It’s amazing to be able to look out on the ocean from the pool. Both of the big cities are within about 15 minutes driving and we enjoyed being between the two. Finally, the breakfast was delicious and our room was comfortable, beautiful, and clean 😊 10/10

Un hôtel merveilleusement bien placé face à la mer situé dans un coin tranquille avec un personnel accueillant et attentif. La piscine est agréable comme le petit déjeuner qui vous est servi à la demande. Les chambres méritent une remise à neuf car la douche inonde la salle de bain… malgré tout le coin est agréable et bien placé pour visiter Santorin et les conseils avisés du patron sont utiles pour passer un séjour agréable.
