Hotel Museo Los Infantes

An excellently located hotel with nice relaxing bar and friendly staff. The room had amazing original features , it’s an absolute gem in this this amazing town. Cafes , restaurants shops within a 100 metres. Bring a camera !

Staff were friendly and helpful, room was excellent, lobby area was spacious and characterful. The buffet breakfast was amazing! The hotel is conveniently situated in this beautiful town and we were given suggestions about where to eat in the evening.

Nice hotel, right in the center of the village. I would recommend it. We stayed here for 2 nights, the staff was very professional and helpful. The room was nice and clean (family room). Free parking in front of the hotel.

We upgraded to a room with a balcony but when we arrived it was hardly big enough to stand on. The photos of the front of the hotel are not bedrooms. These balconies are in the museum lounge, which is stuffed with antique furniture but no one seems to use the room. Our room also looked out onto roofs and a car park, and many others look out to the wall of another building. The room was smaller than the photos on line suggested. At the check in we were asked to pay even before seeing the room which we found strange. No lift. The plus side was that you can park for free just opposite. Also a very good breakfast and pleasant staff there. I think you could find a better room for the money as there is plenty of choice in this very pretty village of Santillana del Mar.

Hotel Museo de los Infantes is a grand looking building both inside and out. We managed to get one of the hotel’s parking spaces out front (across the road) but if they are full, just drive past the hotel, with it on your left, and take the first turning to the left and there’s a huge public car park. Check in was welcoming and efficient and our room (209) is spacious and very nicely decorated and furnished. The only possible downside is the lack of air-conditioning, but with the fan on and the balcony door open we were fine. The hotel lounges and bar areas are plush and comfortable and although we are only here for one night, this is the sort of place you could stay for a week! Breakfast was a comprehensive buffet of fresh fruits, cold meats cheeses etc., but you could also order bacon and eggs, which I always find a bit of a treat on the continent. Service throughout has been courteous and friendly. This is a lovely hotel in a beautiful village which, although it gets very busy and touristy during the day, returns to being a sleepy charming place in the evening; and with its close proximity to Santander I have no doubt we will use it often as a first or last stop on our trips to Spain.

Buen hotel y buena relación calidad-precio, desayuno muy completo, mucha limpieza y gente muy amable y atenta a lo que necesites. Muy bien comunicado, cerca de distintas playas y también muy cerca de las cuevas de Altamira. Muy tranquilo igualmente para quien busque leer un buen libro.
