Hostal Sol del Caribe

I stayed in this hostel for 3 weeks during my time in Cuba and I could have stayed so much longer! Lizet and Maurice were the most welcoming hosts and went above and beyond to make sure everything was as best it could be and I can’t thank them enough for accommodating to the multiple requirements I had and giving advice during my trip. Out of all the Casa’s I stayed in, this one was the best. The rooms are lovely and I spent a lot of time on their great terrace. I used the kitchen plenty of times which was well equipped and the breakfast provided every morning was absolutely excellent. I hope to return back here on future visits to Santiago de Cuba!

Once again we went back to this gorgeous B&B but this time we took my parents in law and my niece with us and they loved it as well! Lizet and Maurice are probably the best hosts I have met in a private accommodation and their attention to the customers is beyond their duties. The breakfast was delicious and also the dinner we had up on the terrace was amazing. Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, location is good, what else could you ask for? You also have the option of booking private salsa classes up on the terrace (best teacher in Santiago)! This place is what I like to call a home away from home.

Privat Unterkunft ist toll. Frühstück ist gut. Bett ist ebenfalls sehr gut. Zimmer Nr 3 hat leider kein Schrank. Dusche ist gut. Hier befindet sich zwischen Plaza de Marte und Casa Granda sind also je 10 min zu erreichen. Es gib einige Geschäfte, die man nur mit der Karten zahlen kann. Es gibt aber auch Particular Geschäfte zahlt man in bar. Allerdings etwas teurer. Gute Restaurant Contas ist gut und da kann man mit Euro zahlen (bar). Sonst sind wir zufrieden.

Une expérience horrible. Je ne le recommande pas. L'établissement ne correspond pas à aux images, les photos ne correspondent pas à la réalité. Les services décrit dans la page de tripadvisor sont fausses. Rien est aux normes pour accueillir une clientèle. Absence totale de confort

Liset y Maurice , los propietarios son estupendos y estan pendientes en todo momento de la estancia sea maravillosa. te aconsejan sobre cualquier cosa , restaurantes, compras, visitas a distintos sitios... La casa esta muy bien atendida con las habitaciones con aire acondicionado, los maravillosos desayunos cubanos... Y todo ello en el casco historico de Santiago de Cuba , lo que te permite desplazarte andando a todas partes.
