"It's the second time we go. This time we went for 2 nights and the two-bedroom apartment is quite good. The only problem is that it was a bit cool. They told us that the heating was at 21 degrees. The spa is quite good, although now you have to pay 10 euros per person to enter (previously it was included in the price). The bath towels are too small, and you can hear the elevator and the train a lot, since the track is next to the apartments. Still, we will probably repeat if we go through that area. Next door is a fairly large shopping center, and a restaurant where there are many first courses to choose from and many main courses for a very reasonable price. The girls at the reception are very nice and the maintenance guy is very attentive and very nice."

"This guesthouse-style hotel has a gym and a swimming pool; if you're not in a rush, you can spend half a day swimming by the pool. The rooms are very clean, the bathroom is spacious, and the staff are very friendly."

"The location is good, near the beaches and easy to reach by car. The rooms, renovated, are big enough but barely furnished and no decoration at all. It is not dirty but the cleaning service is minimum. The kitchenette has kitchenware but it is badly designed with not enough space to store food. Small fridge with freezing department. The beds are comfy but the pillows are awful, long old fashion sponged filled, very hard. The staff is very kind but not enough to attend when hotel is full. They have entertainment for children on daily basis and instead of doing it in the underground floor, they put music and games in the middle of the atrium and so all the rooms are noisy until after dinner families go back to their rooms. We were in superior rooms, with balcony and nice view to the mountain and the sea, but the noise of the children and -days later- of some groups improvising dance with their mobile's music was very annoying. Another problem is that early morning the water pressure doesn't reach the third floor until breakfast is over and having a individual electric water heater for each apartment is not enough for 4 people that can occupy them. They have one outdoors and one indoors swimming pool. the later is so small that we can barely be 4 or 5 people, but they admit 18 people at once! They have buffet for breakfast and dinner, good price, not sophisticated but good enough quality. In summary, it is a good place only for families middle-low class with small children and for groups, not for couples and not for seniors."

"The rooms are spacious, clean, the wardrobe and bedside tables do not have closed drawers, there is no safe in the rooms (they offer you the safe at reception). The rooms are not so soundproof, you can hear the external air conditioning-heating equipment, there were no free toiletries, only the gel-soap for the sink-shower in a tube. The average breakfast, stew-watered coffee, the oil jugs they fill with. There is plenty of parking on the street (in summer I don't know if it will be saturated). There are nearby bars, a bakery, a large supermarket and a pharmacy. Walking about 10 minutes is the town with shops, bars, bakery and bus stop. A quarter of an hour away on foot there are some coves and beaches, which show us the beautiful Cantabrian Sea. If you are looking for a quiet place it is fine, but only to sleep, with the nuances that I mentioned at the beginning."

"This was, without question, one of the worst hotel experiences our family has ever had. We booked two nights but checked out after only a few hours because staying there was simply impossible. The air conditioning was completely broken throughout the entire hotel, not just in our room. During the middle of summer, this is completely unacceptable, especially for a hotel charging premium prices. The rooms were extremely small, outdated, worn out, and nowhere near the standard you would expect for the price. The hotel desperately needs a full renovation. What disappointed us even more was the complete lack of customer service. The hotel manager, Barbera, showed absolutely no interest in helping us or finding any solution. There was no empathy, no apology, no compensation, and no effort whatsoever to resolve the situation, despite the fact that we were a family traveling with children. We were simply left to find another hotel on our own. Technical problems can happen at any hotel. What separates a good hotel from a bad one is how management handles those problems. In this case, the management failed completely. Charging guests full price for rooms without functioning air conditioning while offering no meaningful assistance is unacceptable. We strongly advise future guests to look elsewhere. We will never return, and we certainly cannot recommend this hotel."

"We came back to this apartment after having been last year. We noticed that sadly the apartment has been neglected. The fittings were chipped, the the only fry pan was scratched by heavy use and the handle was loose, there was not a chopping board or a sharp knife to cut bread or vegetables, there was not can opener. The water glasses were heavily scratched by over use. The cafetiere was cheap plastic with flimsy lid. We noticed the flower pots outside reception were half dead and flooded in water, chairs in the terrace outside looked discarded and dirty. A general feel of neglect about the place. The cleaners changed bed linen and towel daily but the whole place needs investing in better kichen equipment, mattress, and fittings. The way is at the moment, is expensive and poor value for money."

"I recently stayed here with my sister, such a great apartment in a beautiful location with a wonderful host, Raul. We were checked in quickly and shown our apartment, lovely, clean and spacious too. All of the amenities were in the apartment, it's a great location very close to the beach. We didn't drive during this trip, it's very easily accessible with public transport. We loved our stay and hope to return soon!"
