Saint Francis would be proud! This wonderful "inn" was the perfect place to stay in the lower city section of Assisi, and its atmosphere of cleanliness and hospitality indeed helped me "restore" on a deeper level. The three mornings I was there I enjoyed wonderful conversations with the owner, over a cup of great espresso coffee and savory strudels, tarts, and pound cake delights -- crossing paths with other travelers who had interesting stories of their journeys. The owner went out of her way to cater to my own paths, by driving me in her car to SPELLO one morning, saving me the train ride, as well as the evening of my arrival, taking me to trattoria Santoucci where I enjoyed "white ragu" pasta with Chiana veal, a specialty of this region of Italy.

Staying here felt like we were with our favorite aunt. Host Mariella (sp) is so sweet, caring, and cute. To communicate, she speaks Italien into her phone which translates and speaks in English. We in turn spoke English so the phone translated our messages into Italian. She gave us marvelous restaurant recommendations, and we chatted about all sorts of fascinating topics. She serves a generous breakfast including assortment of delicious homemade pastries. We would love the chance to return!

We chose to stay at B&B Francesco in Assisi because of the high reviews. We'll add our high rating as well. Our host, Maryella, was exceptional. She picked us up at the airport and showed us around the area. Her breakfasts included home made cakes and tarts that were delicious. Her hospitality was lovely and made our stay very special. Our room was large, spotless and had a balcony. The B&B is a short walk from The Basilica of Santa Maria degli Angeli. It was necessary to take a bus up the hill to Assisi, but that wasn't any problem. Maryella even took us the airport when we left. We highly recommend B&B Francesco in Assisi. Thank you Maryella!!

Vriendelijk onthaal, toffe gastvrouw, ruime kamers voorzien van alle comfort. Misschien wat gedateerd maar perfect in orde. De airco werd geapprecieerd. Rijkelijk ontbijtbuffet. Kortom, heerlijk en rustig vertoeven ! Maar je spreekt beter een mondje Italiaans

Eravamo già stati in questo bellissimo B&B circa 18 anni fa e lo ricordavamo come ottimo punto di appoggio. Siamo tornati a dicembre 2024 e abbiamo avuto conferma dell'ottima ospitalità. L'accoglienza di Valeria e la sua simpatia ci hanno fatto sentire come a casa. Il suo B&b offre ogni confort per un soggiorno davvero fantastico. E' situato in ottima posizione per visitare la regione dell'Umbria ed è praticamente a due passi dalla Porziuncola e dal centro di Assisi. Torneremo. sicuramente ancora. Gerlando e Filly (Palermo).

Per lavoro io e mia madre abbiamo prenotato l'appartamento del B&B Francesco in Assisi al piano terra, per 4 notti, dovendo fare una fiera a Bastia che dista solo pochi chilometri. L'appartamento è spazioso, adatto anche per una famiglia, pulito e accogliente. Possibilità di parcheggio nelle vicinanze. La proprietaria è stata gentilissima e molto ospitale. Ci siamo trovati da subito ben accolti.proprietaria gentilissima e attenta all'esigenze dei propri ospiti .molto ben collegato x spostarsi sia ad Assisi che nelle vicinanze.....inoltre la proprietaria da ottime informazioni sui posti da visitare e dove mangiare.ottima colazione con torte preparate da lei tutte ottime. Lo consigliamo ci si sente veramente a casa e anche il costo del pernottamento ottimo.la ringraziamo di vero cuore e siamo felicissimi di averla conosciuta

Io e mia moglie ( Gigi e Michela) abbiamo alloggiato il terzo weekend di Novembre. Ci siamo trovati da subito bene,la signora Valeria e suo marito( i gestori) sono stati molto accoglienti,camere pulite e ben in ordine,ambiente gradevole, senza tanti fronzoli ma che ti mette a tuo agio.Merito anche della padrona di casa che con la sua compostezza e tranquillità ti fa sentire da subito ben accolto.Tutte le info potete chiederle a lei,da dove mangiare a come spostarsi,cosa vedere,ecc..ultimo ma non per importanza la colazione mattutina che sempre Valeria prepara con le sue mani una serie di torte fatte in casa a dir poco buonissime,che prima di andare vi scrive anche le ricette.

Soggiorno eccellente a pochi passi da S.M degli Angeli. Se cerchi un ambiente di famiglia è il posto giusto. Proprietari gentilissimi e squisiti è dire poco. Ambienti ultra puliti, comodi, accoglienti: è come stare a casa propria a Assisi
