On a normal visit this hotel would be absolutely stunning, and the perfect place to relax, the rooms are lovely and the service is fantastic. Unfortunately on arrival we were greeted with an extremely loud construction site next door encroaching on the whole property, it was unavoidable as it was next door to the swimming pool and in front of the balcony’s. From 9am until 6pm on both days we were there all you could hear was the construction site which were using big drilling machines for the foundations. While we understand that the construction is not the hotel’s fault, we were extremely disappointed with how the hotel handled the situation—or rather, how they failed to address it. The hotel was aware of the ongoing construction prior to our arrival, as they confirmed it had started weeks before our stay. However, we were not informed of this in advance. Upon check-in, all we were told was, “We hope you can still make the most of your stay…” This level of communication and service is not what we expect from a hotel of this caliber and price. This review serves as a warning for anyone planning an extended stay. The constant noise from construction is unavoidable and could easily ruin what should be a relaxing holiday. After traveling for two weeks, we booked this hotel for our final two days to unwind by the pool, but unfortunately, that experience was marred by the ongoing disruption.

the nicest place you can visit, the food is amazing, the people are super friendly, we were in the pool all day, we got massages by the beach, It is very calm environment, dinner isn’t too pricey considering we got steaks the most expensive thing on the menu. 10/10

Such a beautiful hotel, pool, and beach area. Food was great, service spectacular. Also loved that hotel was a little remote without being that far from town, and only had like 10 or so villas so it was a very intimate experience with plenty of space for everyone.

Magical, dreamy, incredible!! Luxurious rooms and such a well run resort. I can really see how it got Michelin Stars. The staff were incredibly friendly especially Margo, Roberto and Diana. They make you feel as if you are part of the family the minute you arrive. So attentive to your every need. The restaurant had some of the best food we had eaten in Mexico. A husband and wife run kitchen and locally sourced organic produce from their local farm. Absolutely superb! Our favorite was catch of the day and the steak. The architecture of this resort is so unique we just couldn’t stop taking pictures of it. Steps from the beach we enjoyed a private sunset dinner and horse riding! We hope to come back soon. One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in!

Superb place to relax for 3 days. The hotel decor in the rooms and around the hotel was stunning. The pool was a highlight and we spent a lot of time sitting by it. As there are only a small number of rooms in the hotel we often had the pool to ourself. The food was excellent and the service from all the staff was fabulous. The beach itself is very wild and not swimmable but there is a glorious swimming beach at Carrizalillo about 20 minutes away by taxi.

Staying here was the best ever! Would recommend to anyone looking for luxurious, relaxing and welcoming environment. It’s a small hotel, the service is so personal, it shows the staff really care. The restaurant is TO DIE FOR. Will be back!
