I have visited this resort many times and will likely visit again only because of KIKi and the wonderful staff. The Hotel has undergone some upper management changes with management that does not quite understand why people visit a beach resort. I have seen personnel changes that seem completely contradictory to guest satisfaction and a noticeable missing element of the Diamond Club Level of service that is offered at a elevated price. The problem is that the Hotel always seems to be missing some of the most simple things that make the Diamond Club experience incomplete. One example, Tonic water, they are always out of tonic water so if you pay for Diamond Club and your drink is Gin & Tonic , your out of luck. The other issue is the beach bar “ el ranchon” is missing fundamental elements and often closes early even in the warmer months with extended daylight, it’s a Beach Resort, that’s why people visit. I posted photos of the lobby bar and the beach bar for example.

Cuando hice mi reservacion en Trip.com decían que la entrada al hotel era a las 2 pm,pero cuando llegamos en el lobby nos dijeron que era a las 4pm,por lo que tuvimos que pagar un extra para poder entrar a las habitaciones,deberían actualizar esa información a futuros huéspedes.

Ruhiges Hotel umrahmt von herrlicher Natur und einem Riff direkt am Hotelstrand. Familiäre Atmosphäre. Idealer Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge.

El Hotel es estupendo, buen servicio, buen trato y buena comida, reservaría otra vez sin pensarlo, el personal muy amable y servicial , la piscina es hermosa, en fin una buena opción !!!

Le site de l'hotel est magnifique avec la barrière de corail a proximité mon seul bémol la grande utilisation des verres de plastiques jetables sur ce site naturel exceptionnel .

El tema de cuba en los hoteles es el servicio de la comida en la mesa bufet tienes que estar exigiendo que te sirvan porque casi no te echan carne… todo restringido eso le resta calidad al servicio…. Pues está bien elaborada y hay calidad no así su calidad y variedad

Beautiful & well maintained resort, amazing view of the mountains, the food was awesome so much variety at the buffet compared to most Cuban Resorts, the entertainment staff was awesome and engaging, there was shows every day around 9:30pm , mosquitos and flies were the downfall unfortunately, the beach was nice, the water at the beach compared to Varadero was about 6-7 /10 , I stayed at three resorts during my 21 days here in Cuba and this would have to be one of the better ones I've stayed at. You definitely will not go hungry because there is so much variety at the buffet, Le Gourmet was great as well (one of the a la cart restaurant on site. ). Staff were so nice and welcoming, there was a few tourist that weren't happy with myself taking pictures / recordings of the resort so did have a meeting with customer service about it which kind of ruined the experience a bit. Overall will stay here again probably. Melina (sunwing rep) that is stationed at the resort in the morning was amazing and super nice, Marco , one of the MC's was amazing aswell even sat down and ate with myself which was really cool. Ps: they had beef and also turkey, always had Ice creme(goes fast though) also they had pizza too.

Wer stayed at Memories Jibacoa August 16 to August 30. We have been many times to this resort and have enjoyed it immensely every trip there. This year, we noticed a great improvement in it Wifi services, as we wetre able to use our internet all over the resort. This was the first time we could post on facebook in our room. The staff were accomodating and very responsive to our needs. We enjoyed the variety of food available, at both the buffet and a la carte restaurants. We enjoyd the shows , with particular appreciation for thw Wednesday Opera nights. We snorkeled almost every day over the reef in front of the resort. We appreciated very much the taxi services of Humberto Mesa, taking us to Havana, the Bay of Pigs for snorkeling. and to Hershey and Jaruco to deliver medical supplies to their policlinicos as part of our mission of bringing suitcasesof medical supplies from Canada with the organization Together for Cuba. Overall, we had a sense again of being well cared for by all of the staff and the resort as a whole. We are constantly amazed that the hard working staff can continue to care for our needs so well while all of Cuba is struggling to survive in a time of tremendous shortages. Somehow, rhey are able to make a priority of serving their guests while they are living with so much hardship in their homes and communities. We left aware of our need to help the Cuban people however we can.
