We stayed for 9 nights. The hotel is well located, and the entrance is spotless and clearly maintained regularly but be careful. There is a lot of wear and tear once you get into the rooms and hallways. In my opinion, the hotel is more of a 3 star in terms of overall quality. The bathroom didn’t have a functioning ventilation system, so the room quickly filled with heat and humidity. By the fifth day, we started seeing insects. The beds were uncomfortable and squeaky. The balcony had a plastic edge, which is very dangerous if you lean on it, especially for children who might not be aware. There were also quite a few rusty elements. The outdoor pools were freezing cold for 7 straight days. Perhaps it was due to the season, fair enough. The indoor pool was in poor condition. Cracked walls, a yellowed jacuzzi that only worked from time to time. The indoor pool water was warm only one or two days out of the nine. The sauna was acceptable. In the final days, I found a dead cockroach near the indoor pool area (where guests walk barefoot). I reported the incident, but the hotel completely dismissed it and replied with something along the lines of: “That’s how it is in Mallorca. The fact that it’s dead shows that our products work.” We’re from Paris, France : there is rats and cockroaches there, but I’ve never seen one in a 4 star or even a 3 star hotel. And if it had happened, the hotel would have taken proper action regarding the customer care aspect. We got not apologies, neither a gestuere. They don’t even have the Hoja de reclamaciones at front desk which is a legal requirement. We had to insist twice to get it and finally got it on third time by emailing the hotel. To end on a positive note, the restaurant was our best experience. The staff were friendly and welcoming, especially Joana, Jako, Reuben and the chef Ahmadou. The meals were varied over the 9 nights. The desserts were mostly the same every day and not really to our taste, but still nice overall. I do not recommend this hotel if you’re expecting a real 4 star experience. It’s more like a 3 star in some countries, or even a 2 star in terms of comfort by French standards.
