Sandos El Greco - Adults Only

Just arrived back after spending a week here. The staff are great, the food was the best al inclusive I have had in Europe. However the hotel really let us down with the entertainment. The 2 staff who presented the entertainment were very good , but the shouting and type of entertainment did definitely not fit in with this style of hotel. Bingo, darts,guess the pictures but put your hand up and shout tequila, in a adult's only hotel. Not the kind of chill out we where expecting. Also the pool area gets very busy with not much room. Yes we would definitely go back if the entertainment was changed to a more relaxed adult theme.

Just leaving after an enjoyable 4 days at the Sandos El Greco with my mum. When we arrived our room wasn’t quite ready but we were given our all inclusive bands to use straight away and then shortly after received a call to say we could get our keys. The rooms are spacious and clean with fresh towels and cleaning daily. The all inclusive was great, drinks were good and food fresh and hot, lots of choice everyday and we always found something nice to eat. The pool area is clean although sunbeds quite crammed in and usually all taken by mid morning but we are early birds so never had a problem getting some. Right on the beach with beautiful clear water and water sports if that’s your thing. Quite a few steps down to the beach so not good for anyone with mobility issues as there is no slope alternative. The staff are amazing, especially Hugo and Fanny and the evening entertainment was fantastic. We couldn’t fault it and would definitely return.

What a lovely quiet little adult only hotel. The staff were excellent and if you had a food allergy/intollerance then it catered for virtually everything. The beach was 5 mins from your room and was safe and so relaxing, the cost of the sun beds was not overly pricey and you could have them all day. You could safely go for a swim or trip into the town and leave your things by the sunbed. We took a bus into Ibiza town which was 45 mins and not too bad on an air conditioned bus because when in Ibiza town you could get a bus to anywhere on the island. One of the highlights was the amazing sunset it was soooo red and a joy to behold. Well it was my second trip to Ibiza and I think we’ve found a little gem we will definitely be back, so Sando el Greco we will see you next year.

Just returned from a 6 night stay ..surprise from my husband for my 50th .. absolutely loved Portinatx for relaxed and away from it all feel. Massage and mini facial excellent from I think Joanna - highly recommend. The restaurant al carte was amazing if you’re staying over 5 nights, booked straight away for the last night. Anyone with food allergies / intolerances just advise the staff - Chari and Mario very helpful. You can get gluten free bread, pasta, pizza ( whole one) just had to wait but it was delicious and fresh. All the food has the allergy cards. Didn’t use pool as too many sunbeds always looked on top of each other, and the beach was much nicer and felt safe with lovely views - €8 per bed and €8 per parasol. We will definitely return found another beautiful part of Ibiza. ❤️🏝️

Of all the various adult only, all inclusive, Spanish hotels that we have stayed in we thought that this had the best food and evening entertainment. Our room, and all areas of the hotel were spotlessly clean although, as I think has been mentioned in some other reviews, there was occasionally a smell of sewage in the bathroom. Having booked a double room we were surprised to have been inexplicably allocated a triple. The single bed in addition to the double made the ( already fairly small ) room very cramped and of course it would have been even worse, for space and for storage, for three people. The location is very picturesque – overlooking a small sandy beach with clear shallow water. This is just as well as the hotel's pool area is extremely cramped and the layout means that during the course of the day varying parts are in the shade. It was particularly frustrating as at late afternoon, when the sun was still shining, staff members would start stacking the sunbeds and sweeping the ground around any remaining guests; we appreciate they would want to finish work as soon as possible but we felt pressurised into leaving sooner than we had intended. As non-smokers we were disappointed that smoking / non-smoking areas were not properly defined; signage was inadequate or non-existent. Some guests smoked or vaped around the pool; the only “official” smoking area seemed to be immediately outside the only exit leading to the poolside and beach ( and therefore impossible to avoid ). We have previously seen reviews of other all inclusive, adult only hotels which described their atmosphere as being akin to a retirement home. That is not the case here; there was a wide age range of guests, the animation team were very friendly and enthusiastic and as other reviewers have indicated some of the organised activities were quite lively. Also other such hotels that we've stayed in have specified that they would not accept bookings from hen parties etc. but during our stay here the presence of a couple of these groups did affect the general atmosphere - particularly in the buffet restaurant which was low-ceilinged and prone to magnifying any noise. In conclusion we generally enjoyed our stay here but can understand why some guests felt that their expectations of a well presented hotel in a quiet location were tarnished by a slightly raucous atmosphere.

Smoking ruined our stay. The management allow smoking on the terraces, by the pool and all outside seating areas. People were smoking by the entrance next to the no smoking sign. Overflowing ashtrays decorate the tables which stinks. Thoroughly unpleasant and not in keeping with the rest of the hotel. There is something quite revolting watching a grown man baking by the pool with an ashtray balanced on his chest, chain smoking away.
