Apartamentos Wi-Ki-Woo

I can honestly say the this hotel has to be the worst I have ever stayed in. We had no warm water despite raising this to staff numerous times- We did have someone come to take a look he just said to run the tap on the sink and hopefully it would warm up… it didn’t our entire stay! The hotel it’s self and rooms are so tacky, everything is so tired. We had the room that slept 3 the toilet and shower is a rickety frosted door so absolutely no privacy and not clean to standard. There was zero lighting other than a weird dull coloured lamp so this combined with the strange decor brown and pink walls it was like a dark cave. This meant it was impossible to do your make up, the only natural light is at the sliding doors that looks out to the pool so full exposed to the entire area. It was an extremely depressing place to come back to after partying the pool is small and also tired and the staff were not friendly. Service was appalling. We found we were waiting forever just to be acknowledged! The service so slow-due to staff standing around chatting and socialise between themselves. The poor service wasn’t due to it being busy either, the three days of our stay most the time the bar area was completely dead, just us absolutely no atmosphere and therefore no excuse for such terrible service, it was clear they the staff were disinterested and really don’t care.

We went for a hen do drinks and food brunch party at 1pm on Sunday 26 May, there was 17 in our party. When we arrived the staff who were all lovely, didn’t seem to know what we had pre-ordered and maybe a little confused, but as the season is just beginning, it could be just staff getting trained up etc. We sat at a very large table which was beautifully set out, in fact the hotel was absolutely gorgeous, idyllic for hen do’s. We had preordered the brunch and all the food was amazing, the BLT looked very tasty and was probably the best value, as it was quite large, the Caesar salad was delightful and the pink sauce that came with it was delicious. We got a bit confused as to the drinks side of things, and got charged for two bottles of wine which we didn’t really know why, but we didn’t challenge it we just paid the bill. We did challenge the service charge of around 120€, as we had served ourselves the drinks and thought it was rather high, it was removed from the bill. Lots of photo opportunities for the whole hen party and overall a very nice experience.

It's absolutely amazing. Fabulous atmosphere, incredibly delicious food. Amazing cocktails.Fair price for this type of glorious experience.. Bar staff wonderful, especially the lovely man, with the amazing moustache. The whole place is just awesome, even the toilets. It's a must from me

Arrived around 8.30pm night of the 14th June. This place looked stunning and exactly how it looks over social media.. however sadly when we were met by the receptionist she didn’t give a welcome you would expect at a place like this, we were given no information about anything to do with the hotel, pool area (bed reservations that we learnt you could reserve from the maintenance guy) or in fact anything you would expect when you arrive at a hotel for a couple of nights which is disappointing but aesthetically this place is stunning. Beds were amazing.., room perfect size for two with loads of mirror space to get ready but sadly if you’re at the side of the hotel you’re looking directly into a construction site from your balcony. Tea and coffee stated to be available in the room but missing coffee, left a note for the housekeeping team and still wasn’t replaced all holiday.. light bulbs out so requested to have these fixed which was dealt with by the second receptionist really quickly and the maintenance team were lovely. Staff in general round the pool were really friendly, but the receptionist just didn’t seem to want to be there… Overall I would recommend the hotel and it’s perfect location, bar and restaurant but sadly working in FOH the first person you meet leaves the best or worst impression. Arrived Friday 11th October for the weekend for my daughters 18th birthday, I had emailed the hotel before and asked the to dress up the room, arrived no one knew nothing about this and the lady on reception apologised and said they were short staffed. The hotel is quirky and looks great for photos for Instagram but in reality it’s run down and dirty and seems the rooms are not repaired after been trashed, our patio had come off the runner, aircon broken, tv wires hanging out, not great at all! Many times throughout my stay I had to ask for a clean glass, when you’re paying €16 a drink this should be standard! They were serving cocktails in a gin glass half full. We didn’t check out until Monday morning but the hotel actually closed Sunday which we was not made aware of until we asked for a drink at about 5pm and was told they we closed, couldn’t even get a soft drink, surely they should have closed Monday when everyone checked out? The hotel was also full of druggies slummed around in corridors off their faces on balloons shouting until all hours, I get it’s a party hotel but seemed there was no one even in the hotel except 1 person on the last night so didn’t feel particularly safe! I have stayed on the island many times and there is much better hotels than this, think it needs a major clean up over the winter in my opinion.

What a disappointment! This should be a 1 star rating. It looks nothing like the instagram photos at all. We had no room clean or fresh towels for 2 days out of our 4 day stay, the towels they did give us stink of mould/mildew and couldn’t use them. Others in our group didn’t have a room clean their whole 4 days. The air con barely worked in our room and again had a horrid smell- others had rooms with no working air con or safe. The rooms were grubby and in desperate need of a renovation and deep clean!!! There was also no bar service after 10pm, not even for a bottle of water. For the money there are much better hotels and far better location to stay in - don’t be fooled by social media!!
