"The building has aged well, so I was prepared for that, but I was very pleased with the corner room, which had plenty of light and a view, and the thoughtful cleanliness. From the station, you walk through the shopping street and cross Aioi Bridge, and the atmosphere is close to residential areas, which was a comforting feeling for a solo traveler. Breakfast was in a different building before you returned to the room, but it was a modern, casual buffet restaurant on the first floor.
