Hotel Condor

I booked hotel Condor with some friends so that we could ride the Maratona Dles Dolomites. Firstly the hotel is super clean, appointed in a sympathetic modern style and the staff couldn’t do enough to help us, even with special requests. My entire party commented that the food was fantastic with every meal choice delicious and very well presented. The facilities are perfect to keep you busy in down time, maybe a game of pool or a swim in the pool. The location is fantastic at this time of year for cycling and hiking with some of the most beautiful scenery right outside the door. Overall we had a very memorable stay and I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in the area. Thank you Hotel Condor and staff

A lovely hotel in a perfect location in the village. Good breakfast and optional sandwich purchase for lunch made our walking days much easier. Premium rooms substantially more comfortable than the standard rooms - mattresses and pillows particularly (we had one premium with double and single for 3 teenagers and one standard double - wished we had had the premium as we didn't sleep so well on the hard mattress and flat pillow). Good size indoor pool, small outside garden area, gym, sauna and free parking were all much appreciated. We were offered, but didn't take any evening meals at he hotel, mostly because the 3 course menu wasn't great for our children who preferred pizza or pasta. Lovely lounge area with lots of seating - which I can imagine being busy and lively in ski season - summer it was very quiet. Overall we would recommend - staff were super friendly, rooms were spotless and it was a very relaxed atmosphere.

We spent a ski vacation in Park City last year. It was phenomenal skiing at a staggering price. This year, we chose to give it a try to Italy. San Vigilio di Marabbe is such a charming small town with world-class skiing. Hotel Condor made it, even more, enjoyable since its ski-in/ski-out property with fabulous staff, and an owner that greets all guests every day. The property is well-maintained, with plenty of features that thrilled our boys ( 13&16). Do you want a swimming pool? You got it; You want sauna/ You got it; You feel for Turkish bath/ You go it! Activity rooms and much more 70 yards away from the main gondola made it almost perfect for any ski aficionados. We got " half board" accommodation which meant breakfast and dinner—more than enough for the entire day. The food was excellent. It was spectacular, with different ala card choices for dinner. Fresh and tasty. Could you expect anything different from Italians? Our waiter, Gianny, was so knowledgeable about local wines that we felt we had a sommelier rather than a waiter.! and VERY affordable. The staff members are so great. We had minor requests for our room, which was done before we returned from the slopes. TRUE hospitality, professionalism, and warmth we enjoyed were something we forgot back in the US. No tips, no hard sell on anything. The price you agreed with is the price you pay at the end: no add-ons, nickel, and diming. I cannot say the same for Sixt, rent a car at the Munich Airport. Yes, we flew from Boston, and it took us almost 4-5 hours to drive to this beautiful town from Munich, but it was well worth it. And for the slopes, well, I can say that they are almost comparable to Park City. Maybe not as long slopes, but still a few miles long, but for weekend ski warriors, as my family is, it was world-class skiing. If you never make it to Hotel Condor and San Vigilio, I assure you you are missing it big time!

I was in Condor last 7 days with family and to be honest am a bit dissapointed. Position of the hotel is perfect just 200m by walk to Miara. Also the room was very nice and comfortable. But few things are not on the 4 stars level in Dolomites. Breakfast is poor and always the same, I was in 3 stars hotels around with much more rich breakfast. There is nothing to eat in the hotel beetwen breakfast and dinner, not even to order and pay for something. There is no kids menu for the dinner, they offer every day tomato pasta. There are no tea and dry fruits in wellness which is part of every serious wellness in 4 stars hotel and the wellness is pretty poor. When you open the website to read about hotel you can find that there is playroom for the kids but nowhere is written that you need to pay for each game, it is not about paying it is about being serious in bussines if you advertise something you need to be 100% honest to your customers. In the end I would give 2 stars review but the staff was really nice and polite and they make me to give 3 stars instead of 2 stars review.

Servizio impeccabile: cortesia e gentilezza dei proprietari e del personale, pulizia al top, cucina da leccarsi i baffi, hotel eccellente, davvero da vivere completamente per giornate serene e spensierate, relax e riposo, ma anche ospitalità indimenticabile. Ogni tipo di relax dopo una giornata di sport: piscina e passatempo
