Ckoi Atacama Lodge

The best hotel in San Pedro de Atacama! I stayed there with my husband for a week! All the staff was very welcoming and polite, attending to our needs without hesitation. Everything was very clean and the breakfast was great, when we couldn't be there for breakfast because of the tours in the desert they prepared a snack for us to take! The hotel is very cozy and has a great location to access the main street Caracolles, where all the stores and restaurants are. At night it's very quiet and nice to sleep. Even the dogs who stay there are very friendly, they even have cute Lhamas there!

Lovely adobe holiday village on the edge of San Pedro town. Hippyish-ethnic decor, lots of greenery, very welcome in this parched environment. There’s even a pool, small but nice, and, cutely, a pen of llamas right beside it. Cute but a little smelly. People are nice, breakfast is standard, town is barely five minutes’ walk. On the minus side, if these things matter to you, there’s no air-con, TV in rooms or bar, and, annoyingly, not even hot water to make tea till after 5pm. Overall it seemed to us one of the nicest places to stay in San Pedro, especially for the money.

Excellent stay!!! The place is really confortable and beautiful. The room was great, and the breakfast even better. We used the pool and the hottub. We spend lovely days over there. I would absolutely recommend it. The people that work there are very helpful and nice. It’s definitely the best option in San Pedro.

Place was nice and good value for money. However, the laundary took almost 24 hours instead of a couple of hours. There was also a very aggressive dog and the receptionist was not pleasant - we were told we could check out 13.00 but he made a scene and said check out was 12.00

The first impression was very good but at the end it wasn’t the best experience: room badly kept with a very old bathroom, heating with a wood heater so we had to pay attention to the smog, breakfast not particularly abundant and we had problems trying to have dinner there (apparently the chef is not always there and he doesn’t have enough ingredients to cook) Workers there should be a little bit warm and welcoming thinking that prices are definitely high for the services. Positively the location is pretty close to the centre in a quiet location

O hotel fica á uma curta caminhada da região comercial da rua Caracoles, tem uma estrutura e uma decoração rústica que combina bastante com o clima do deserto e também trás conforto com quartos amplos e espaços externos agradáveis. Um ponto que me chamou a atenção é me influenciou na escolha foram as lhamas, é muito bacana poder interagir com elas dentro do hotel. O hotel organizou os tours que eu fiz com bastante agilidade, mesmo eu os escolhendo em cima da hora e por um bom custo. Pontos que não me agradaram na hospedagem: o café da manhã é extremamente básico, servem uma bandeja diretamente na sua mesa, sem opção de escolha dos itens, causando desperdício, basicamente, pão, frios, ovos e iorgute. Como o hotel não é dos mais baratos eu espera mais. Outro ponto é a total inflexibilidade para late check out, seja cortesia ou eu pagando é impossível, tive um passeio que retornei meia noite e outro saindo as 4 hrs da manhã no mesmo dia do meu check out, fui obrigado a deixar minhas malas organizadas na madrugada para que eles mesmos as retirassem meio dia, me senti despejado do quarto, pequenos detalhes fazem toda diferença na experiência da viagem, na próxima oportunidade não ficaria no Ckoi.
