This hotel was outstanding. The people working here and the breakfast are wonderful. And it's a short walk to markets, restaurants, and bars. Close, but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. It also has a relaxing courtyard, with a small pool. The day we checked out, we went for a geyser tour at 515 AM. We left our luggage at the hotel. My wife got altitude sickness. We came back to the hotel early. They let us back into our original room, which had already been cleaned so my wife could lie down. The breakfast ladies made her a special breakfast, even though they had closed. While we were waiting on the breakfast and room key, a wonderful lady from the breakfast room came over and put a cold washcloth on my wife's forehead, and sat with her. I have no words for the kindness by the entire staff. When we left, I offered to pay for an additional night. The staff refused. I have traveled internationally and domestically for many years. You don't find hotels with people this caring very often, if ever. If you're looking for a home, away from home, stay here and know that someone has your back. Unlike the horrific tour company that we used for the geyser tour, Puka Rumi. This will be in a separate review.
