Ulasan Grand Muthu Golf Plaza Hotel & Spa

Big rooms, comfy bed. Nice big pool area. Average food, average drinks, quiet area. I witnessed the night security man pushing guests and been very aggresive towards some guests on an evening. I spoke to reception who were not at all interested in this which alarmed me as they thought it was ok, which it was definitely not ok. A few of the all inclusive options not open yet. Entertainment staff excellent. Reception staff not helpful. No sign of any management on the floor. I could not recomend this hotel based on my experience.

Me gustó el cuarto ya que tiene bañera y ducha, hay cocina, el servicio, y la piscina, pero lo malo es que el gimnasio abre muy tarde, el spa también, y no hay información sobre el bufet y restaurante como para uno organizarse, todo hay que preguntar en recepción, también deberían tener agua para beber en la habitación.. es muy importante!

L'ambiance de cet honnête reste familial. Simple mais convivial. Comme ds tous hôtel il y a des points positifs et d'autres négatifs. Les points positifs : - à 10 minutes de l'aéroport, - à 15 minutes des plages touristiques playa Los Americas ou celle des Christinos, et de l'ambiance "vacances" des villes comme Costa Adeje, - pas mal de places pr se garer aux alentours (attention : parking de l'hôtel 7€) - soirées à thème chaque soir, en mode "camping paradis", - les cocktails du barman : top et large choix. Prix raisonnables. - La taille des chambres, spacieuses et pratiques pour une famille. - Le personnel de la réception, sympa et arrangeant. L'un des réceptionniste maîtrisait un peu le français ce qui a été un plus mais les autres, dont Javier, sont très sympas. - La piscine : non chauffée certe mais on s'y fait vite une fois dedans et elle est suffisamment grande, je trouve... Peu profondes 1,40m au max, appréciable des familles. Juste un bémol, les gens incivilisés laissent traîner leurs mégots ds les jardinières, ce qui est dommage. Les points négatifs, oui il y en a qd même un peu 🙄. - Peu d'excursions Nature autour de l'hôtel... - La déco est très soignée et jolie dans l'entrée, les patios, l'espace piscine mais fait qd même un peu "vieillot" entre autre ds les chambres et la salle de resto. - La salle de spectacle est sympa avec pleins de photos de stars mais les couleurs "chaudes, façon ibériques" la rende "Vintage". - Les frais en plus ne sont pas donnés (30€/nuit/chambre pr le changement de chambre que nous avions demandé et 10€/pers pr le ptit déj.) Je ne sais pas pr le reste... - Autre désagrément : les odeurs nauséabondes à certains moments de la journée entrez autre le soir... Et là dessus, malheureusement, l'hôtel n'y peut rien car je pense que ça vient du golf situé à proximité ou bien d'un truc qui ressemble à une station d'épuration. Alors, ça ne dure pas toute la journée ou nuit... ou alors mon nez c'est habitué mais c'est qd même dommage pr l'hôtel. Et dérangeant pr les résidents. - Manque de prise à côté du lit. Lampe de chevet, 1 prise donc pas possible de charger son téléphone portable la nuit. - Les avions qui passent la journée mais cela n'est pas dérangeant la nuit car au max à 23h, il n'y a plus de traffic donc la nuit, reste reposante qd même.

Really great find! Yes Golf de Sur isn’t the most exciting place to go to, but if you want a relaxing pool based holiday then this hotel does not disappoint. We thought the food was amazing, in fact we ate multiple plates at most meals. So much choice and some definite favourites. Entertainment was perfect for the children, as well as the day time pool activities. No problem with sun loungers. The AI was very good value and there were lots of drink options and snacks. We really enjoyed our stay and pity the people who just seem to find fault with everything, despite being on holiday.

We are currently staying in room 33, and can’t fault this hotel. We was unsure of what to expect after reading reviews but we are not the type to inspect walls ect. The room itself is a little dated and probably not 5* so don’t expect 5* but beds are super comfortable and our room has a huge double balcony with all cutlery and plates needed for a pleasant stay, they also provide washing up liquid and tea towels but we did pay €50 for the use of kitchen but we knew this before arriving. Rooms cleaned every 2nd day. Pool area is always clean, water is not deep at all so perfect for families. We usually went to the pool between 9:30 and 10 and always plenty of beds but there is always the usual bed hoggers you get in most hotels. Aqua aerobics around 11am. We are here self catering as that’s what we prefer, there is three supermarkets within 5 minutes walking distance and an Irish bar, so plenty of amenities. If you cut through winter gardens you will come to our favourite Irish bar and the coastal walk to san blas with a few restaurants along the sea front. Please don’t listen to negative reviews, after all a room is to sleep in and for the price for 10 nights it’s definitely worth it. We are looking to return next year.

The hotel advertises its self as 5* actually top end of a 3*. We had room 208. It’s in need of lots of attention. AI was woeful. Drinks very weak, food not good. Same each day and unless you like chips, pizza, fish or pork then you struggle to make a proper meal, therefore we ended up eating in restaurants and drinking in bars close by. The hotel itself is clean but very dated. Can’t believe you can’t get a bottle of water included in the AI. Best you get is a paper cup of water. No water left in the room fridge either. Room cleaned every other day and generally it was ok apart from tea and coffee mugs and glasses never got washed. We could not was then as we would not pay the extra to have the kitchen unlocked. Entertainment was woeful, very little during the day. The location was good and staff in general were very friendly and helpful. Light on the balcony was not working so reported it and it was fixed the afternoon. English speaking channels available on the TV but no sound. I asked reception and was told that’s the way it is. Surely someone could sort that. We enjoyed the area of Golf Del Sur and made the most of our stay at the Grand. This was our experience and an honest and frank review

It was a perfect little stay. I can honestly say it was one of the most relaxing holidays ever and most of that was down to the hotel. Staff are so friendly especially the breakfast guy I think he's name Miguel, always so cheery and happy to see us. They was all nice and friendly. The hotel itself was stunning and very clean. The rooms was cleaner and towels changed at least 4 times in our week stay. The pool area was just lovely and if you want to relax perfect. If you want to have entertainment there is plenty of that activities everyday for kids or adults such as aqua aerobics Thank you so much me and my daughter enjoyed it alot.

If you are going to Teneriefe for the nightlife, then this hotel is not for you! If you are going for an all-inclusive family holiday, then this is perfect. Other reviews describe the rooms as a little dated, which I can't disagree with. However, they are very clean and comfortable with beautiful views even if you don't get a sea/pool view. The pool area is well maintained, clean, and tidy, and the life guard is always pottering around the area, picking rubbish and helping people locate sun brollies. There was never an issue with getting a sun lounger, and I did not have to sneak out at 6am to reserve any. Food was never an issue, there was something there for all of us to eat, including my fussy son, there is a snack bar by the pool bar throughout the day where you can get sandwiches, cakes and ice cream. Drinks are good, mainly beer or cocktails, which are tasty and quite strong. There is entertainment on every evening for smaller kids in the music bar or if you want something a bit more grown up then head out to the pool bar where they have a singer/DJ. I would definitely recommend this place to families who don't want to go out for the night life.

We chose this hotel for a relaxing 10 night stay. On arrival the hotel foyer looked quite grand until you actually took time to look at it. The large chandeliers were covered in dust and grime and the fountain would have been nice if it was working. The room was very spacious, dated and dark furniture, it really needs a good upgrade. but it had a great power shower. The staff were very friendly and worked hard. Food was lovely to begin with, but as with all hotels who offer all inclusive, the food did get repetitive. The entertainment leaves alot to be desired. As a couple, we did not want to endure the usual "Butlins in the sun" entertainment in the M & M Bar, so we opted for the pool bar. In the 10 nights, there was entertainment on 3 nights, which was really disappointing. We never had any problems getting 2 sunbeds each day but if you have a larger party, you might find it difficult. We chose the BBQ dinner night which was amazing. Beautiful setting and very attentive staff. Also, we were plagued with flies. Flies in the restaurant, flies in the pool bar food area. They were everywhere which was very annoying! Hotel need to buy fly zappers. The hotel is definitely not 5 stars, more like an average 3 star. Overall, we had a relaxed holiday, but we won't be returning

Ignore the negative reviews..rooms are huge slightly dated but which saddo spends more time than you have to inside.Enough food choice for everyone...pool area was OK plenty of sunbeds sure you need to be early to get beds where you want but plenty. Lucy the pool guy was very helpful and hardworking.....the reception area could do with a bar area where you hang out waiting for your wife and teenagers to get ready...just saying ..Great hotel,supermarket close by and Odonnells a cracking bar just up the road if you don't like cheesy hotel entertainment

Don’t listen to the haters this hotel is amazing fir the price . Staff , brilliant Rooms, brilliant very big Pool , brilliant Food , brilliant We are currently staying at this hotel at the moment and can I say it’s amazing. Would definitely come back next year with a bigger group
