Le Chatelet

We only stayed at Le Chatelet for one night as we were getting an early bus to Pucon in Chile the next day, but for an overnight stay it was just fine for us. The location is good as others have said as it's right in town & walkable to the beach, restaurants etc. We also enjoyed relaxing in the nice little garden & small pool in the afternoon. All the staff at the front desk were very friendly, spoke great English & were helpful. The only slight downside is that for the price paid, the rooms & bed are quite small and a little dated in terms of décor. Of course this is an old hotel, so it's perhaps to be expected, but it wouldn't hurt to spruce it up a bit to bring it back to it's glory days. Unfortunately we can't comment on the breakfast as we had to leave very early the next morning to catch at 6:30 bus, but the staff did very kindly warm up some coffee for us & left out some bread to make toast with jam etc, which was very much appreciated. Overall for a single night we had a nice stay & would still recommend the hotel if you manage expectations.

4 of us booked this hotel, because we have a biking tour the next day. They were very good at getting back to us and booking taxis for us the next day. Upon arriving, there was a bit of commotion at the front desk when a mom and daughter were coming in. We didn't think much of it. The front desk clerk was very helpful when we asked if we could use the lounge area for wine and snacks. Very relaxing after a good walk thru town. We had room 110, which is not a huge bedroom, but very clean. The bathroom, however is pretty tiny. Need to close the door to use the toilet or reach for the towels. The bed however, was very comfortable, along with the pillows. There is a fan above the bed. But at 11:30, at night, we were awakened by a women screaming in the room next to us. It kept up, and we called down to the front desk. They came and tried to calm the women, but it kept up. Thankfully, the front desk gave us a room on 3rd floor to sleep in for the night. We just grabbed our robes and went up. That bed was just as comfortable, but with no fan. But the whole night was a bit alarming, to say the least. Hard to sleep after being woke up. The breakfast was fine, good coffee and various sweets and bread.

Hotel muy bien ubicado! El desayuno variado y de buena calidad. Todo el personal es súper amable, en especial Alan de recepción. Hotel familiar, con muy buena predisposición en todo momento. Hay opción de cafetería por la tarde, ideal cuando llegas del cerro cansado, ya que podes merendar o comprar algo para picar. Cumple con todo, súper recomendable!

Hotel cercano al centro, zona tranquila rodeada de restaurantes y casas de recuerdos. Todo muy cerca, la ubicación es excelente! El personal muy amable! El jardín muy lindo, las habitaciones cómodas y con una heladerita para guarda de insumos propios. Sólo le mejoraría un poco la atención en el desayuno ya que todos los camareros se encuentran dentro de la cocina y no todas las mesas están armadas. Una tiene que armar la mesa que quiere ya que a veces a medida que se van los huéspedes, no vuelven a dejar todo armado. Hay que dejar las llaves en la recepción del hotel al salir.

Nos hospedamos con mi marido durante la primera semana de enero. Excelente servicio y amabilidad de todo el personal, muy atento y trato personalizado. Nos qudamos en la habitación 112, que da hacia la pileta. Buscamos tranquilidad y buen descanso y eso es exactamente lo que tuvimos... Nos quedamos muy contentos con el hotel, su decoración y el servicio. El desayuno es completo, sencillo pero muy rico, incluso tuvieron la amabilidad de prepararnos el desayuno más temprano porque nuestra excursión salia antes del horario de inicio del desayunador. Nos sorprendió gratamente que nos pregunten que queríamos / necesitábamos. Tambien nos prestaron toallas para ir al lago. Ojalá podamos volver muy pronto.

Estuvimos hospedados con mí marido durante la primera semana de enero. Excelente servicio y cordialidad de todo el personal. El hotel tiene pocos pisos y las habitaciones son muy amplias, muy limpio y ordenado. Lugar precioso y, lo que destaco es la tranquilidad y buen descanso. Volveremos en cuanto podamos!
