Hotel Kappara

Lovely small hotel. Perfect for the travelling tourist and in easy reach of the town. We were visiting a sick relative in the local hospital which was an easy 20 minute walk. Good bus service into Valletta. Rooms were spacious, very clean abd quiet. Staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. A very reasonably priced hotel too.

I selected this hotel as it is very close to the university. Fortunately the weather was good so I could make the short walk through the nature reserve, which had no decent paths out lighting. The journey would be near impossible in the rain, and very difficult in the dark. The hotel was ok, but felt much more like a student hostel. Rooms are very basic and the fridge and/or kitchen are both chargeable at an extra €10 each per week, even if only staying for a few nights. Breakfast was simple but pleasant. A selection of cereals and a sliced loaf of delicious local bread with jam/honey. Staff are very friendly. It serves a purpose but go with low expectations

Bad bad bad…… terrible chair, terrible bathroom. Sorry no quality it is only for make money. I seen a lot of hotels but this is one of the ….. if you love mold in your Bathroom then is this Hotel perfect. You need metallic water (look at the picture) then you are right…… Never again

In this price range they do a good job. There's a bit of wear and tear and the rooms and brekky are basic but all the essentials were in order: a clean room, sturdy bed and friendly service. The location is also good if you want to avoid the crowds in Valletta. San Gwann could use some more decent restaurants, though.

An Schlaf ist nicht zu denken! Ich war während der Ramadan Zeit hier und es war die ganze Nacht sehr, sehr laut. Ich wollte für die Universität studieren und war oft genervt und nicht ausgeschlafen. Auch mehrfaches reklamieren nützte nicht viel. Viele Studenten wohnen im Hotel. Im Bad hat es Schimmel. Beim Duschen läuft das Wasser auf den Boden, der Vorhang ist zu kurz! Unfallgefahr. Hinter dem WC ist es extrem schmutzig. Möbel defekt und Polster hat Flecken. Für die Küche bezahlt man 20.-€ pro Woche, doch der Kühlschrank sollte dringend ersetzt werden. Rost. Das Personal ist nett. Zimmer okay. Die Lage zur Universität war für mich optimal.

Sono stato in questa struttura per tre notti e mi sono trovato bene. La colazione comprende più salari che dolce ma tutto sommato va bene. La zona turistica di Gzira si può raggiungere facilmente a piedi, cosa fatta per diversi giorni. Molto cordiale il personale alla reception, il ragazzo parlava anche italiano. Cambio asciugamani effettuato, pulizia camera anche. Tutto sommato lo consiglio.
