No extra fee for parking. Gated for extra security. Key card access only on all entry points. Newly-renovated rooms on the 3rd level. Updated facilities with modern features. USB charging ports. Heating and auto-timer light in toilet. Elevator is old but remains functional. Housekeeping crew missed cleaning room on one or two occasions but staff was attentive to provide towels upon request. Lots of restaurants within the hotel vicinity.

Good location with bus stop next door and walking distance to a number of eateries. However the interior is looking a bit tired, the lift creaks and gets stuck and there is poor noise insulation between rooms and the corridor. Inconsistent with the supply of or lack of shower caps, soap, wipes etc. Back end of the hair dryer was a bit of a hazard. No fridge in room.

Ideal location and very affordable. Just what you need rooms bit dated but your only in there to rest really but the bed was very comfy and the water for bath or shower very hot. Ice machine in hall plus plenty of free parking within the hotel.

As we were concerned that the standard rooms, which face Lombard Street, may be noisy, we paid for an upgrade to a deluxe room at the back. It was a big room, well furnished and well decorated and was very quiet. The hotel is very well situated for main attractions with plenty of local bus services. Free parking on site is a real bonus. The only disappointment is that it doesn't do breakfast

Location is good. Nice that it has a large parking area, The room doesn’t have a microwave, but the front desk will be glad to warm up your food The restroom’s exhaust wasn’t working but they fixed it the next day, they also forgot to refill the body wash, but they fixed it as well

Excellent location, clean room and friendly service. The parking lot is very good, particularly it is for free! We had a standard room facing Lombard Street, so it was quite noisy!

Good location. Loved the diner across the road. Easy to get a driverless cab to attractions. You have to try this. Great size rooms

Good and cozy place! Guests also enjoy 10% discounts at selected restaurants nearby. The receptionist will tell you the eligible ones.

I have stayed at this property and its sister properties in the past. My experiences have run from great to somewhat great. My stay at the Cow Hallow Inn & Suites this April, 2024, was no different. My room was clean and somewhat comfortable. The chairs were hard and the bed was a bit lumpy. The carpet is in need of a replacement . The property is going through a renovation and upgrade which I am sure means replacing the carpet and furnishings. My experience in the past is that unless you reserve one of their suites, your experience will be average at best. Value for what you get is more than fair. The location is fantastic as you will be staying in the heart of the Marina district with its iconic San Francisco pubs and bistros and three blocks from Cow Hallow/Union Street, with its boutiques and cafes. Plenty of public transportation to downtown San Francisco and Union Square as well as Chinatown and the financial district. I do recommend this inn for a short stay.

Everything was good. Staffs are nice and place is comfortable. The only thing that bothered me was the room I was in :( There is a tree right outside of my window and it blocks the view. Other than that, I had a good stay.
