Don't get near this dreadful "hotel". This place, horrible at itself is run in a cowboys manner. There is no aspect in this institute which is reasonable so I just go through our experience step by step: we took a nine hours taxi drive from lake Atitlan to Lanquin with the purpose of visiting Senuc champai. We booked, a month in advance a double room with a bath. When we arrived to the hotel late in the afternoon we found out that the hotel made a mistake and the booking was for a tent. When we show manager the written confirmation that we booked and paid for a room and not a tent he said that it is a mistake of the computer system and it is not it's problem and that the rooms are fully booked. When we assist of having a room even in a different place, he offered us a room in a third grade hostel. We refused to go to that place. In this stage we decided to leave the place fitst thing in the morning, without visiting Semuc champai, since there is one a day shuttle and we couldn't think of staying at this place one more night. With no other options we took the tent for one night. After one hour sleep, my wife woke up screaming of pain. A black scorpion bite her finger while she was in bed. At that time there was no staff at there. The only person to be found was the armed night guard who was kind enough to call his boss by the telephone. The boss on his part was kind enough to offer to come and take my wife to the health center on his motorbike. We agreed, but guess what, he never showed up. The first moment we could, we left this so called "hotel" without looking back. Keep away from this place, you better give your money to charity, gamble or flash it in the toilet rather than go this place.

Tende grosse da campeggio stile indiano di America con letto grande !!!! In piedi non riesci a stare però perché bassa l altezza !!! Bagno abbastanza lontano e condiviso con tutti gli altri !!!! Piscine meravigliose sé utilizzabili !!!! Ristorante ottimo per qualità !! Abbastanza lontano dal centro di Lanquin ! Prezzi raddoppiati delle escursioni se comprate in hotel rispetto alle agenzie in paese !!! Qualità prezzo abbastanza alto

Si l'hôtel est situé à environ 100 mètres de l'entrée des grottes, il reste éloigné de la ville de Lanquin d'environ 2 kilomètres. Il peut être éventuellement une base de départ pour aller aux site de Semuc Champey qui se trouve à 12 kms. L'hôtel est très correct et propose de grandes chambres, un peu austères avec peu de décoration et dont les salles de bains sont minuscules. Tout donne le sentiment d'être fait dans la recherche maximale d'économies : vielles serviettes de bain,nombre limité, peu de produits d'hygiène et même le papier toilette est le plus fin que je n'ai jamais vu. Il propose également des tentes confort dont je ne peux pas vous parler car je ne les ai pas visitées. Trois piscines (pas trop propres), un bar et un restaurant complètent les équipements. Si je m'arrêtais là, vous pourriez en conclure de peut être séjourner dans cet hôtel sauf que......l'accueil est DEPLORABLE et DESAGREABLE ! Le personnel se fout littéralement de la clientèle, en infligeant des temps d'attentes à vos demandes totalement anormaux et encore, quand il daigne y répondre. Il n'y en a pas un pour rattraper les autres à tel point qu'il doit s'agir d'une consigne. Je ne vous donnerai pas plus d'exemples mais croyez-moi j'en ai d'autres. Par conséquent, je déconseille cet hôtel pour sa politique d'accueil LAMENTABLE.
